    • Our dog received excellent care and care plan and medications for home.
    • For all the money they charge you don't even get good service.
    • She delivered the rest of pups on her own and we were set to go home.

C.B. Saved my dog's life! Lauren was absolutely caring from the first phone call through the entire night. Our dog needed emergency surgery and was much of a thought to the Hilliard location. MedVet Worthington treated us great Lauren and Lily were very kind, very friendly and sincerely cared. It was felt the moment I walked through the doors. Thank you for saving our dog's life if it weren't for the staff here she wouldn't be home with us today, forever grateful,.
S.Z. MedVet offers a specialized hospital with educated staff… to give our animals the best chance surviving crisis possible. They were there for me recently during one of the hardest nights I’ve ever had in my years of extensive dog husbandry, helping me try to save my four week old puppy. She didn’t make it, and it was expensive, but knowing she was in the hands of people willing to fight just as hard as I was to keep her alive meant a lot. Be nice to your veterinary staff… they do something most people couldn’t handle, when emotions are high and money is a concern. Big thank you to our nurse, Kira, for helping me find some closure during this major loss of “Pinkie”.
R.H. My Golden retriever swallowed a safety pin and when we called they made him a top priority and said they would be able to see him ASAP! When we got there everyone was extremely kind and Buck was so loved by everyone! He ended up needing scoped and Dr. Kelly Ring was absolutely amazing. She was so sweet and professional and went through everything down to every detail. She was incredible through the entire process and they took very good care of him. We had to leave him for the night and as soon as the procedure was finished, my husband and I received a call from Dr. Roger Hostutler and gave us the amazing news that our puppy was fine. We were so happy with the fact that he had the courtesy to let us know as soon as he was finished and was so kind. Everyone was amazing and so understanding once we got to the payment process, they explained all of our options. 5 stars from the Ault family and Buck is back to his happy and healthy self thanks to the amazing team at MedVet in Worthington! We will definitely be back if there is another emergency. Thank you Kelly and Roger!
S.C. Doctor Thaibinh in cardiology was AMAZING with my nervous stranger danger pup. Three minutes into the consult he was taking treats and soliciting pets which typically never happens that quickly for him. He did a great job of explaining things in layman’s terms without dumbing it down. The receptionist at the front desk was great too. We had good news on the consult and I’m thankful we don’t have to go back for a year, but I’m happy to make the trip again for the service and staff at this visit.
J.S. Dr Ring(5stars)helped my dog a few weeks ago. She problem solved, listened and helped form a plan that worked for us. It was a very long, difficult few nights but Dr Ring went out of her way for us. She spoke with me, called me the following day and spent the time to converse with me and we did our best to make sure we were doing what was right for my senior pup. I’m very grateful.. Medvet(4 stars)is extremely expensive. It isn’t possible to afford all they offer. But I appreciate they have resources and around the clock care, I just wish it was slightly more feasible for people to afford care for their pets.
J.S. Our Sadie Mae started exhibiting signs of being ill. Our local vet did blood work and advised us that we needed to seek out a vet of internal medicine. So given our dogs condition, we chose going this route through the emergency clinic immediately. We arrived around 11:30 at night and by 3:30pm the next day we had answers as to what was wrong. After blood work, providing IV fluids and antibiotics, x-rays, ultrasounds and samples reviewed by a pathologist we received extremely bad news that Lymphoma was in some of her organs and that she also had pneumonia. It definately wasn't the answers we were after, but yet we had answers. For that I am truly grateful to all those that helped with the diagnosis and care of our sweet girl. Everyone was professional and caring. They treated us well, explained everything, kept us informed and truly seemed to have sympathy for the tough decisions we were facing. As to price, yes it was somewhat expensive, but I would have spent so much more if anything truly could have been done to have her around for many more years. Thank you MedVet of Columbus, thank you Dr. Hostutler and Dr. Herrick for your care of our girl. She will be missed.
M.B. One of my puppies was acting very depressed and dazed and after taking him in to another vet that was of no help medvet not only found the problem and fixed it but they explained everything along the way. They told me all my options and didn’t make me feel bad for choosing one option over another. They were very thorough and made sure to explain to me everything they wanted to do, the price of it, and what they recommend at the time. Their staff is beyond nice and accommodating and they treat you like family which is extra amazing for being such a large facility. I can’t say enough good things about this place. I will definitely be bringing my puppies back here.
A.B. My 11 month old Mini Australian Shepherd suffered a Brachial Plexus Injury a few months ago from an accident, and he was originally seen by medvet in Hilliard (my go to when emergency care is needed). The injury left him mostly paralyzed in his left front forelimb. I took him to Dr. Bancroft in rehab at MedVet in Worthington, and I can’t say enough good things about her and the rehab department in general! She recommended that my dog proceed with amputation of the injured leg (which was a lot to swallow initially, and psychologically took some time to accept). Just last Thursday, my dog had the amputation performed by Dr. Dudley and the surgical team in Worthington, and I again cannot say thank you enough to the team of talented and compassionate employees there. Rex was up and wanting to play the very next day. The photos I took of him in a sweater are three days post surgery, and he has no idea he even had anything done to him. No pain, moving even better than before the procedure, and loving life. Thank you to EVERYONE at MedVet for always taking fantastic care of what means the most to me in life.
