Discharge summary

A written overview of the evaluation of a patient written in lay terms for the animal owner. The summary includes what was done to the animal, what were the results of tests and what treatment is to be performed at home and how to do it. A description of a patient's workup. May include an overview in client terms of what tests were performed and test results as well as a description of treatment and care for the patient.
