Dogs: Dog

a) Read and follow directions for Pro-Spot®; Weigh animals prior to dosing. Be certain ofthe dose and the product you are using (there are two Pro-Spot® concentrations and fiveseparate products available¯see below). The labeled dose is: 4 - 8 mg/kg topically, notmore often than once every two weeks.
Food Animals:
Thoroughly read and follow label directions for use, including withdrawal times.
Monitoring Parameters - 1) Efficacy; 2) Adverse effects
Client Information - Thoroughly read label directions. Keep out of reach of children. Be sureclient understands dosing recommendations and the importance of not exceeding them. Clientsshould report adverse effects immediately to veterinarian.
Dosage Forms/Preparations/FDA Approval Status/Withholding Times - Veterinary-Approved Products:
Fenthion 20% Topical; Spotton® (Miles); (OTC) Approved for use in beef cattle and dairycattle not of breeding age. Slaughter withdrawal = 45 days.
Fenthion 3% Topical; Tiguvon® (Cattle) (Miles); (OTC) Approved for use in beef cattle andnon-lactating dairy cattle. Slaughter withdrawal = 35 days after first treatment; if secondtreatment required = 45 days.
Fenthion 3% Topical; Tiguvon® (Swine) (Miles); (OTC) Approved for use in swine.
Slaughter withdrawal = 14 days. 5.6% Topical: Pro-Spot® 10 & 20; Fenthion 13.8%: Pro-Spot® 40, 80 & 160; (Miles); (Rx)
Approved for use in dogs.
