Give human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) 500 IU SQ on days 10 and11; breed on days 12, 14, and 16. (Barton and Wolf 1988)

a) FSH: 2 mg IM daily for up to 5 days until estrus observed, then give hCG on first andsecond day of estrus. (Kraemer and Bowen 1986)
To stimulate follicle maturation and estrous behavior in cats:
a) FSH-P 2 mg IM once daily for 5 days, may reduce dosage to 0.5 or 1 mg on the 2nd-5th day. Do not use longer than 5 days. Discontinue as soon as female is sexually receptive and mates. Most queens are in estrus within 5-6 days after treatment has begunand will remain sexually receptive for approximately 6 days. If female fails to exhibitestrual behavior with 7 days after last injection, may repeat treatment regimen in 5-6weeks. (Wildt 1986)
