Total mixed ration Abrev TMR

A ration where all feed ingredients (mineral, vitamins, grains) are mixed in a nutritionally balanced ration. All ration ingredients, including roughages, mixed mechanically to provide one homogenous mixture. TMRs are used in large dairy or beef feedlot operations.
