Dogs: Dog

a) 12.5 - 25 mg PO qid; 25 - 125 mg IM (Swinyard 1975)

Cattle: Cattle

a) 0.5 -1.5 grams IM (Swinyard 1975)
b) For adjunctive treatment of aseptic laminitis: 55 - 110 mg/100 kg IV or IM (Berg 1986)

Horses: Horse

a) 0.88 - 1.32 mg/kg (2-3 mls of 20 mg/ml solution per 100 lbs body weight) IV (slowly), IM or SQ; may repeat in 6-12 hours if necessary. Foals: 0.44 mg/kg (1 ml of 20 mg/mlsolution per 100 lbs. body weight) IV (slowly), IM or SQ; may repeat in 6-12 hours ifnecessary. (Package Insert; Histavet-P® - Schering)
b) 1 mg/kg IV, IM or SQ (Robinson 1987)
c) 0.5 -1.5 grams IM (Swinyard 1975)

Sheep & Swine:SheepSwine

a) 0.25 - 0.5 gram IM (Swinyard 1975)
