There are several kinds that contribute to immunity overall: IgG most abundant in serum and colostrum. IgM "early" antibody; the first one to appear when there is an infection. IgA secreted on mucosal surfaces of respiratory, intestinal and genital tracts. IgE allergic antibody to allergens.
