TRIAMCINOLONE ACETONIDE

Chemistry - Triamcinolone acetonide, a synthetic glucocorticoid, occurs as slightly odorous, whiteto cream-colored, crystalline powder with a melting point between 290 - 294°C. It is practicallyinsoluble in water, very soluble in dehydrated alcohol and slightly soluble in alcohol. Thecommercially available sterile suspensions have a pH range of 5-7.5.

Storage, Stability, Compatibility

Triamcinolone acetonide products should be stored at roomtemperature (15-30°C); the injection should be protected from light.
