H.C. They cut my dog’s nails. Which nobody has been able to do without getting scratched up really bad. He came home really calm also. Which is not him usually. I will definitely be staying with this vet.
    E. I want to thank the staff of Cherokee so much for the care they gave my dog, Buddy, over the last 13 years. He was diagnosed with cardiac problems and had an enlarged heart and I think I was probably blessed with a few more years with him because of the care and attentiveness they gave him. I highly recommend them.
D.C. Took my fur baby Daisy in on Friday (12-30-2022) morning because she wasn't acting/feeling well, and by 12pm Dr. Simpkins was doing emergency surgery to save my girls life! Dr Simpkins was very honest with me. My baby is a Great Dane and she's 8 yrs old. So her age was against her with this surgery. My girls heart stopped as they was closing her up. They got her back! It took them a lot longer than usual to wake her from the anesthesia. (do to her age) I was absolutely terrified that I was going to lose my baby. Once she woke up she wasn't wanting to eat, drink, walk, ect. Fast forward to today 1-4-2023 I got to bring her home this afternoon. They was absolutely AMAZING with Daisy! She is alive because of them. I can't thank the staff enough for taking care, loving and encouraging my girl. I can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. Simpkins and her staff. Once again a huge THANK YOU for saving my fur baby! UPDATED photo (2nd one) of how she looks now. She is completely better and living her best life.
K.W. Even after moving a city away I still bring Luna to Cherokee because of the experience. From calling for an appointment, check in, doctor visit, to check out every person there is caring, attentive, and wants the best for you and your animal.. I know I can trust the recommendations from the vets, the techs are going to treat her well, and if she has to stay for a period of time she is well taken care of.. My dog doesn’t get scared to go to the vet because she’s happy to get there and see her friends. I can’t imagine taking her anywhere else.
M.P. The staff was very nice and answered all of my questions. I know my baby is in good hands when I take him here. Everytime I have went, my dog has been took care of and I have no complaints. I also love that I get notified about appointments etc. in case I forget. What really made me happiest of all is, they gave me an email and told my baby Happy Birthday. Thank-You Cherokee for caring about your clients. We appreciate you.
L.H. They are amazing! They even sent us pictures of our puppies after their spay & neuter so we could see they were doing good. We couldn't ask for better care! Highly recommend the sweet and caring folks at Cherokee.
D.P. They have always treated us amazingly from the first visit all the way up to year 4 (and hopfully many many more) they have no issues with you calling with concerns or issues and talking you through them if they don't think it's something that needs an immediate Vet appointment. Plus my dog loves it when they call him a "Good Citizen". If you are looking for a Vet for your new pet or a new Vet for your current pet, look no further.
K.M. We are fairly new to Cherokee Animal Hospital, although we have boarded out cat Ollie there several times and have been extremely happy with the care he received. He comes back from boarding very calm and happy, and it's clear that he has been well treated. We recently changed veterinary practices and have been extremely pleased with the change. Ollie has had multiple dental surgeries and has had food and allergy symptoms over the years. We have received excellent care for a urinary blockage that was caught early and another partial blockage. We received excellent information and advice and found the staff to be caring and willing to take the time to answer any questions. Our cat seems to like the staff and stays calm during his visit. We feel very fortunate to have found Cherokee Animal Hospital.
