S.J.They are saints. One of my dogs got away from my partner and everyone did everything they could to retrieve her. In the end Good Samaritans found her but so grateful for all the effort the entire staff made to help with this frightening experience. Also they are compassionate and have done a great job taking care of my older dog. Thank you.
C.L.The most helpful, supportive, and caring staff. My cat suddenly stopped eating and clearly was having mouth pain, I recently moved to California and did not have a vet. On top of it being impossible to get an appointment it’s so hard to know who you can trust. I called around and thankfully was able to get an appointment here 3 days later. I hope I am getting the name right but (Louis) the staff member who came to our car was so kind and warm and I just knew he actually cared about my pets well being. After they had taken my cat inside we got a call from the Dr who asked questions and actually listened to the answers. She walked me through everything they were doing and kept me informed. I am a bit of a panicked pet owner and they kept me at ease, she even gave me her phone number in case I needed anything. I could not be more grateful.
V.J.Despite me being an annoying pet parent, Dr. Hillary was one of the most responsive vets I've ever dealt with for my 15 year old husky. (She even answered the phone at 4am one morning when I intended to leave a voicemail! ). She definitely cares about your animal's welfare above all else and I can't recommend this place enough.
J.H.I went to get shots for my puppy and stated as such in the phone and when handing my pup to the tech to take back in (pandemic procedures means they have a drive in, curbside service going on at the time). I proceeded to get a call from the clinic doctor telling me about my dog's heart, growth, etc and mentioned a fecal sample ( which I did not request, although in fairness i should've been more assertive in asking that I did not need it, i just kinda went with it, but that's besides the point, lol). In any case, the bill comes out significantly higher due to the Vet appointment/consultation and fecal test, whose results i still haven't received ??♀️.. If you go here, make sure you are explicit in what you want because it seems communication here kinda sucks for whatever reason. Can't complain about the service though, the staff here is nice and the vet care is seemingly good.
K.M.This pandemic has certainly taken a toll on everyone and it is apparent to me that there are certain people who are consistently and constantly positive, smiling and of service. I feel compelled to write about William at Culver City Animal Hospital. He is and has been the main reason I have continued to bring my cat here. Throughout the years, he has always been the epitome of professionalism, kindness, gentleness, and dependability. I ask for him specifically every time and he has always greeted me and my cat with a welcoming smile, (although, it's in the eyes and tone of voice now). I know that Culver is now on it's third vet in recent years, and I continue as a customer because of him. I certainly hope that each vet has been aware and honors his ongoing commitment, even through turnovers in vets. We feel blessed he has stayed and they and all of our beloved animals are incredibly lucky to have someone like him there. FYI: I don't know it says I'm in San Francisco.. I live down the street.
C.T.Dr. H and Vince are so great. I always feel like my baby is in the best hands. My nervous and shy pomeranian actually lets them pick her up and they keep me, her even more attached and nervous mommy apprised of what's going on the whole time. They truly care and that helps to put my mind at ease.
V.H.First, I just want to say that my pet needed to see a veterinarian. I called 4 places, including my main vet clinic and they were all booked solid and put me on a waiting list. Even after I explained that she wasn't eating and was throwing up what little I could get down her. I didn't want to take her to an ER Vet. This was the only place to say, we are busy today, but we will squeeze you in as it sounds like its an emergency. So for that, I thank this clinic from the bottom of my heart, you helped my baby when it seemed no one else would. Second, the customer service here is great. They explained my bill to me, what each item was for and asked my permission before doing anything, which I appreciate because some of these procedures are not cheap. One of the receptionists, a male, I am horrible at names, but he said the blood work process would take about 20 min and he directed me to a Starbucks. He is FANTASTIC and I think he could tell I was getting frazzled and was worried. Third, the female veterinarian that saw my pet, again horrible at names, I felt was very knowledgeable and I felt that she genuinely cared about my pet. Fourth, the prices are very reasonable and comparable and are not exorbitant. Again I cannot thank this vet clinic enough.
