Dr. Hackett and Dr. Leonard and the rest of the staff are great with my dogs.
And the front desk staff gave the conflicting advice from the two other vets.

Animal Health Clinic was re-accredited in May of 2008 for another three years. The standards set by AAHA achieved by Animal Health Clinic pertain to facilities, equipment, practice methods, and management. The purpose of the American Animal Hospital Association is to enhance the abilities of the veterinarian to provide quality medical care and ensure standards of excellence in examination facilities, surgery, medical records, diagnostic services, dentistry, anesthesia, continuing education, and much more. L.H. They were empathetic, thorough and very kind. We brought our beloved 13 year old lab in with lameness in her legs. They really took their time and explained everything they were doing. Would definitely use again.

They did a beautiful job regarding the cremation; the clay paw print memento they made with my kitty’s paw was very professional and well done. They have a selection of urns, too. The entire facility is well kept and clean.

Dr. Lisa Ciolino took care of my very sick 16-year-old cat and she went above and beyond to make the end of his life comfortable and happy. She also took her time to explain his disease to me in terms I could understand so that I could make the best possible decisions in a tough situation. There are no words to describe how much her empathy and kindness have meant to me. I 1000% recommend Dr. Ciolino and the entire veterinary staff at AHC to everyone looking for knowledgeable, welcoming, and kind animal care experts.

M.C. After bring my pet here a few times after moving cities, I have noticed my dog simply does not enjoy this place! At our old vet, she was always excited to go in, loved the staff, and the staff loved her. Now at this vet, she isn't even greeted upon arrival and is just taken to the back of the office. Although this vet is highly rated in Baton Rouge, I've found they're missing the comfort that should be provided to the animals.

B.S. Incomparable! My Kitty had an Accident inside her Carrier and they were Quick to clean it for me while my cat was treated! I was So embarrassed at the situation. It was my first Visit and they made me feel at home.. My new kitty is being Treated as we speak. Dietary issue they have worked around the clock to take pristine care of his needs and Five Star Treatment. Due to High Tempo Military work they have been exceptional to Treat and care for my Furr Babies Needs. Trust No One else for Quality and Expectations Always Exceeded! I called Incessantly to Check on my kitties Care and I was a little self Conscious for asking so many questions and requiring feedback on Treatments and they Never Once made me feel that I was Wasting their time. And I Talk. ALOT! LOL anyway. This Vet Clinic is Highest Ratings and they Deserve it! Lovely!
