Animal Health Care of Marlboro, was started as a companion animal hospital on April 13, 1992 through the combined experiences and efforts and a great deal of excitement of Dr. Steven Tepper and Dr. Deborah Breitstein. Our goal was to provide comprehensive, high quality preventive medical, surgical, and dental care to our furry family members. We envisioned a friendly, compassionate atmosphere, where in open dialogue with you, our pet parents, we could place a strong emphasis on animal health care.

We felt that wellness progams promote a proactive approach in extending the lives of our patients, while enhancing the duration of companionship with you, our clients. These wellness services are expected by our clients, they are deserved by our patients, and are provided by us, the other family doctor.

C.J. I’ll start off by saying that my fur baby, coco, is my best friend. Today, out of nowhere, she began to have symptoms like diarrhea, her back legs giving out when she tried to walk and she was overall lethargic.. AHC was the closest veterinarian clinic, so we took her there. From the moment I got there, I was glad that we did because the staff was nothing short of amazing! The vet techs, assistants and even the girl at the front desk were so caring and understanding. Dr. Weissman was the best! She understood that we were on a budget and completely worked with us when she had no obligation to do so. She gave it to us straight, but was also very compassionate about it. I could tell that the whole staff take pride in what they do and genuinely love helping animals.. We had a vet, but after today we found a new vet in Dr. Weissman and I couldn’t be happier. My coco is running around and playing again like nothing ever happened. Thank you all from the bottom of our heart.

P.H.M. What. Great. People! Impossible to overstate how nice, friendly, knowledgeable, patient and friendly everyone at Animal Health Care Of Marlboro is. It's so clear from the very first moment how much they truly love pets and care about their welfare and happiness. Liz was both patient and instructive on how important it is to give my Corgi puppy Bella the loving structure she needs in addition to endless love. She now has her forever vet care home.

B.H. I absolutely love ALL the staff. They are all so sweet and loving with my dog. No matter what my concern they've always help me understand what the issue is and what can be done to help her. Definitely recommend! And thank you Dr. Santos for taking such good care of her!

D.M. Tried this vet practice 20+ years ago and was not impressed. This year I decided to give them another try. The front desk demeanors certainly have improved greatly. Appointments wait time are more tolerable. The down side is that they do not have any resident vets, other than the owners of this practice. So each time I go, I am seeing a different vet who is unfamiliar with my pets' history. Apart from that, the costs are also on a higher scale, comparing with other practices in the Marlboro area.

While people may have felt that the service has changed in the last several months, when Dr. B and Dr. T left, I can tell you we've been nothing but pleased with Dr. Weissman and her staff at AHC. We preferred to see her long before they left the practice. The entire staff is warm, friendly, and they definitely care about our dog. Dr. Weissman has gone above and beyond to be sure he is healthy and answers every one of our (ridiculous?) questions. Highly recommend.

K.G. I love everyone that works here! They all are friendly and take such good care of my pets. They all go above and beyond to help your pet. Dr. Santos is an amazing Veterinarian and I’m so glad she is my dogs vet!

C.L. An amazing vet facility! The staff was super nice and we were able to get all vet related things done. BUT! never go here if you have a pet for grooming! They totally butchered my dog, the woman who cut my hair, don't think I can say names, but she claims it's how my dog's hair lays. It looks like she cut half my dog's hair, rushed the job, and I was charged over $80 for the cut! This woman should be honest and do a decent job! Now I have to wait another two months for any opening anywhere for a groomer.
