    Services

    Preventive Medicine/Wellness Care
We strive to prevent illness whenever possible. The time and effort invested in Wellness programs has rewards for both pets and owners. Our Wellness programs are designed specifically for your pet and include: Comprehensive physical exam; internal parasite testing; heartworm, flea and tick flea control; vaccination program; spay and neuter package; and specialized blood tests for all life stages.

    Internal Medicine
We cover all areas of internal medicine, including: Cardiology; Ophthalmology; Neurology; Dermatology; Gastroenterology; Orthopedic surgery; Oncology; Endocrinology; among others.

    Dental Care
We help you learn what you can do at home to prevent or reduce your pet's risk of dental disease. In animals, just as for people, regular professional cleaning is also important to maintaining your pet's teeth. We use modern and safe ultrasound to clean each tooth thoroughly - above and below the gum line. Dental technicians polish teeth to create a smooth, lustrous tooth surface more resistant to plaque buildup. Fluoride treatments help strengthen enamel and reduce tooth sensitivity.

    Behavioral Medicine
Behavior problems are a top cause of people's frustration with their pets. From puppyhood or kittenhood up through our senior pets, behavior problems can develop. We can help with basic housetraining and manners, recommend trainers when needed, and help if you just have questions about your pet's behavior. Our veterinarians can help determine the cause of such disorders as separation anxiety and obsessive behavior, and then develop a treatment regimen for you. Sometimes, behavior changes can be a sign of illness, as well. The earlier a behavior problem is addressed, the better (and usually quicker) the resolution. So let us know if your pet has any abnormal or problematic behavior!

    Fully Stocked Pharmacy
We stock a wide range of the best veterinary drugs in the animal healthcare field.

    Emergency and Critical Care
In any emergency, seconds count. Our experienced staff is backed up by our mobile resuscitation unit, stocked and equipped to administer the ABCs of basic life support – Airway, Breathing, Circulation/Cardiac compressions. Emergency care is offered during regular business hours. In addition, we use the services of a local, fully staffed emergency center.

    Hospice / Euthanasia Services
Saying goodbye to a long-time friend is painful. We work with clients to ensure their pet's comfort and dignity. We provide cremation services for your beloved pets as well.

    Microchipping
Microchips have helped reunite thousands of pets with their families. We offer the most widely used microchip products to increase the chances of a safe recovery.

    Nutritional Counseling
Some pets require special food, and all pets benefit from a balanced diet. Our trained staff is available to help you choose the right diet for your pet to keep him or her happy, healthy and active.

    Pain Management
Veterinary patients feel pain and discomfort under the same circumstances as people do. We know that recognizing and alleviating pain in animals is the essence of good patient care.

    Radiology
Radiology – or X-rays – help our veterinarians evaluate muscular-skeletal, cardiovascular(cardiopulmonary), gastrointestinal, reproductive and urinary systems.

    Surgery
We offer the most advanced surgical techniques and technology. All patients are carefully screened for safety, and anesthetics are specifically tailored to your pet. Surgical services and facilities include: board certified surgeon available for consultation when necessary; fully trained veterinary and nursing staff, to ensure the safest, most efficient, state-of-the-art procedures for your pet; advanced sterilization techniques; ECG and oxygen saturation monitors; intensive after surgery care and full blood testing.

    UltraSound
This non-invasive, state-of-the-art technology uses sound waves to painlessly examine specific internal organs, primarily the abdominal organs. Pregnancy exams are also available. For evaluation of the heart via ultrasound, board-certified cardiologist referrrals are available.

M.G.R. Dr. Matt, Kelsey, and Michele are all very kind, caring, and the very best at what they do!
C.T. My pug had a piece of a bone lodged in his throat. we called Central Park vet to see if we could come in for an emergency visit as he couldn’t breathe. The woman on the phone was very kind and offered a calming voice while i was panicking. She told us to come on in and they will help! We got there in about 5 minutes and by that time my dog had fully swallowed the bone that was stuck! They still brought us in a checked him to make sure he was ok and didn’t suffer any injuries. The vet educated me on how his body will pass the bone, and the signs to injury to look for. We love Central Park vet, thank you for being there for us in one of the scariest moments of our lives!
B.B. The girls at desk were fun and jovial with the dog. The doctor was great and informative and very caring. The place is top notch.
J.W. I can't say enough about this place. They were so good to us and our girl when she got sick. When our cat suddenly stopped eating, we took her in and they not only got her back on her feet, they called us with updates at least once a day. They gave us peace of mind. I was a wreck after a couple of family losses, so the idea of losing our cat was so terrible. They were so kind and warm. Now, I can't promise that every pet will get better like ours did after a week of her being at the clinic, but I can vouch that they will be in great care. These people are sincerely good people. 10/10 would recommend.
Y.D. Central Park Vet goes above and beyond for our pets. We come all the way from Mass just to go here because they are so great. They truly care for our animals and explain every detail and answer every question patiently. We have come in a number of times for a same-day emergency appointments and they are always ready to take us in. We feel extremely comfortable leaving our pets in their care because we know they will treat them well. Thank you to the whole Central Park crew!
S.D. Central Park vet is a wonderful place! The entire staff is very helpful and friendly and are very patient with us and our animals. We took our dog here and he was being a bit troublesome but the vet was very professional and patient and was truly concerned for him. We managed to bring him back along with our cats and the vets were fantastic. They took great care and were very upfront about everything they were doing. Also, the pricing was fair and clear. We are looking forward to continuing our pet care with Central Park. Thank you to all!
M.S. All of my animals have gone or go to Central Park Vet. It is a family owned and run business by Dr. Robbins and his wife. They give great care to your animals and are fairly priced. I wouldn't send my dogs anywhere else.
C.W. Veterinarian and staff are worth every penny. They truly love cats here and understand all their nuances. Very gentle with my elderly cat "Sachi", I feel she is safe and loved here.
