H.W.Dr. Kohout is amazing! She always takes the time to listen to our concerns and answer our questions. Extremely thorough and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!
K.S.I want to start this review by saying, if I could give this vet's office a million stars, I would. I have two cats and I also work for a rescue so I really needed a place that would take care of them properly. I had visited a vet's office before this one (because it was a partner on my pet insurance's website) and I was extremely disappointed by the care there. I thought that this would be how service was all around but I took a chance and made an appointment at VCA Park Cities when my cat needed another follow up visit.. Let me tell you that the care, compassion, and quality that I have recieved with VCA Park Cities is UNPARALLELED by even my own "human" doctor's office. Every single member of the staff here, cares about all the animals that come through its doors and for that, I have the utmost gratitude and respect for them.. If you are looking for an amazing vet for your precious ones, I highly recommend this location.. Bonus: They don't give a preference to dogs only and are well versed in cats too. This is hard to find at times, but I never felt that here, with our Park Cities family.
K.B.My dog Nugget was a patient with Dr. E at VCA University for over 10 years before they merged with VCA Park Cities. When I unfortunately had to put Nugget down to do a cancer that had spread back in February (right before Snowmageddon), the compassion from VCA Park Cities was incredible. Our favorite vet tech, Mike, transitioned from VCA University to VCA Park Cities, and let me tell you, he loved Nugget as much as the rest of us did. He encouraged me to take Nugget to a local emergency clinic to get her an ultrasound, as the X-rays they took did not provide a clear understanding of what was going on. Unfortunately, we had to make the decision to let Nugget go after VCA Park Cities closed that day, and Mike was off the next day. When he finally got back in, he called me, and we both cried a little and laughed over some stories I shared with him about Nugget.. I didn't think I'd ever be ready to get another dog, but I surprised myself by coming home from work one day and thinking, 'It sure is lonely coming home to no dog. ' I started looking online, came across Dallas Pets Alive, and found Eleanora. Absolutely fell in love with her photos. Within three weeks, she was mine! I took her to VCA Park Cities for an initial check per the adoption agreement, and everyone just loves her! I was so excited for Mike to meet her. (Honestly, he was probably shocked I went from a small 8 pound Chihuahua/terrier mix to a 55 pound pit bull mix! ) Mike loved meeting Nora, and both Mike and Dr. Herring are my go-to for Miss Nora!
M.T.I cannot tell you how very pleased I am with Dr. Hille and his team at Park Cities Animal Hospital. It is incredibly hard to find a vet that takes care of exotics (we have a bearded dragon) as well as dogs, cats etc, and I have found one for sure.. If you want excellent top notch veterinarian care, excellent customer service, and a kind loving staff…. look no further. The office is not only easy to get to, but clean and very comfortable too. There are many choices much closer to home, but this one is worth the drive.
C.C.My family has been coming to Park Cities Animal Hospital for several years. We love them, and they are excellent with our cats and dogs.. You guys are the best especially regarding the following:. 1. Always friendly and helpful on the phone and in clinic. 2. Genuinely concerned about our pets & their well being. 3. Consistent will follow-up calls on treatment. 4. All staff are knowledgeable & well-informed. 5. Always work patients in when necessary.
A.R.We have taken our puppy, Raider, to see Dr. Emily Herring twice now and have been 100% satisfied each time. She is so patient and takes the time to really answer our questions. She is genuine and cares so much for our dog, which is always comforting. Highly recommend going to see her!
S.A.The staff was very friendly and the vet was very attentive. In fact, the vet did everything from intake to check out, which is unusual for me at a clinic this size since they usually have nurses or techs do almost everything. However it was the most expensive vet visit I have ever experienced (almost twice what I am used to paying) for standard checkup and shots. Also it seemed like they kept recommending expensive products and procedures, including cosmetic procedures. Ha ha, I won't even do cosmetic procedures for myself, let alone my dog! I guess I can understand based on the location that many of their clients would want this kind of service, but it's a little pricey for me.
