We are an AAHA-certified veterinary hospital. This certification means that we are held to the highest standards of practice in veterinary medicine.

The Veterinary Centre has both traditional and alternative veterinary care for your pet. Our veterinarians offer traditional medicine, surgery, and dentistry for all small animals. We also perform alternative medicine, including acupuncture, Chinese and Western herbal medicine, and rehabilitation. We also give nutritional guidance and we make housecalls.

T.M. My beagle, received wonderful care here from his first visit to his last. The entire staff was warm, friendly & compassionate.

A.C. All of the doctors and staff at VRCCE are true animal lovers and care deeply about helping their patients. They are responsive, knowledgeable, and kind. There are several veterinary offices that are closer to home but the care we have received at VRCCE is exceptional and well worth the drive. Plus, how many people can say their dog gets excited to go to the vet! ? He's treated with so much love by everyone when he has an appointment, it makes the experience that much more stress free!

S.M. The entire team at Veterinary and Rehab of Cape Elizabeth has been so good with my dog. They always make us feel welcomed and are so kind and gentle with my dog.. I have an elderly dog with orthopedic issues. She has been receiving weekly rehab/pt therapy. She no longer stumbles on the stairs and she can even jump up on our bed again! I am so appreciative we found this practice, and so appreciative of the work they do. It has really helped improve the quality of life of my beloved dog.

M.B. We have been bringing our pets to VRCCE for the past five or six years. Dr. Johnson, Dr. Morris, Robin and the rest of the team have been wonderful. Before coming here, we tried a couple of other veterinary practices in the Greater Portland area: one was hectic and impersonal; the other made repeated mistakes that almost cost our cat his life. At VRCCE they strike the perfect balance between being small and attentive, and having the latest technology and services, all while being the most compassionate veterinary providers we've ever been to.

K. I have recently transitioned to VRCCE and I have been nothing short of impressed with the quality of care they have given my pets. I have had annual dental procedures done on my dog for years, and when I took her to VRCCE we found out that she needed multiple teeth extracted. I was heartbroken with the amount of oral surgery that she needed done, but I knew that she was in the best hands. I'm so happy with her progress and I'm thankful for the knowledgeable, professional, and caring staff that looked after her. Great people, great medicine, and a great environment!
