In order to minimize wait time and to alleviate confusion,
here are a few guidelines to follow when scheduling an appointment:
Appointments can be scheduled Monday through Saturday, and surgery appointments Monday through Friday.
Patients are seen by scheduled appointment only. If there is a medical emergency please call the office prior to leaving to ensure a doctor is on site.
If the reason for your visit has changed from when you scheduled the appointment or if you would like to bring an additional pet, please call the clinic first to be sure we can accommodate the change.
If you are more than 10 minutes late to your scheduled appointment we will do our best to accommodate. There may be a wait until the next available time or the appointment may have to be rescheduled for another time.
If you need to cancel your scheduled time for any reason, please contact the office so that we can offer the time to someone else. Please try to give at least 24 hours notice.
Patients scheduled for a recheck with the doctor will be charged for a medical progress exam.
If your pet is scheduled for a tech appointment they will not be seeing a doctor. If you would like to see a doctor, a separate appointment will need to be scheduled.
If your pet is scheduled for a drop-off appointment expect them to stay the day. Our normal drop-off time is between 8-9am. Pick up times vary from patient to patient but are usually between 3 - 6pm.
Authorization forms must be sign by the owner for pets scheduled for a drop-off or surgery appointment. If an individual other than the owner is bringing the pet, they MUST be at least 18 years of age and have the owners permission to authorize any suggested procedures and/or treatments.
Our normal drop off time for surgeries is between 8-9 am. There will be authorization forms that will need to be filled out; so please allow 15-20 minutes for paperwork.

D.W. This was my 1st time using this vet. My Jeremiah hurt his leg and needed a sick appointment. I called right at 8:00 in the morning, as they instructed me to do the night before, and got an appointment with no issues. I was allowed to go inside with him the whole time. The doctor and assistants were all very kind and professional. They made me feel welcomed. I felt like they were being just as gentle with my dear, sweet boy even when I wasn't looking, so I didn't sit with anxiety waiting for him to get back from the x-ray. Treats were given to help him feel better during the processes. (Loved seeing the squeezy cheese! ) I would definitely recommend these people!

N.R. AHCF is ABSOLUTELY the best! We have been treated like family since day one. Our pooch is not the friendliest, but the doc's and staff are always patient and accommodating. So for him, (Rock our pooch) going to the vet is a now a less stressful event thanks to the team at AHCF! When you call or arrive or just stop in, the front desk staff are always super pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful; they always take the time to make sure that you are well taken care of. Now for the doc's! Dr's Scrivener and Ridenour are nothing short of OUTSTANDING! And most recently, Rock has been seen by Dr. Ridenour. Rock is not very fond of men, but Doc Ridenour has such a tremendous level of patience and a great working relationship with his patients, that it makes the visit so much more palatable. Lastly and as I first stated, they make you feel like family and they are by far.. THE BEST VET FOR YOUR PET/LOVED ONE(S)! Five Stars isnt enough, 10's in my book!

J.B. I’ve been taking my pets here for the last two years and have been extremely happy with them so far. My pets have mainly seen Dr. Cumley and Dr. Sausen but everyone I’ve dealt with at the practice, from vet techs to the receptionists on the phone, have been very helpful, knowledgeable and extremely nice. They take the time to listen to and address my questions and concerns and do a great job in explaining things. Plus they are great at handling both my dog and my cats. I feel very confident that my babies are getting the best care available. Plus, they have a really great app where you can message them questions and make appointments so you don’t have to make any phone calls! My only complaint would be the prices but I’m pretty sure vet prices are about as bad everywhere else too.

L.C. This Animal Health Clinic has a solid reputation. They have been there for me for all of my pets for many years. They are honest and caring and patient. They are truthful and dependable. I trust them completely. I have had both dogs and cats in my life, this group of vets know both and more. I give them more than five stars, I give them the gold standard trophy, if there is one.

M.H. My puppy absolutely LOVES the staff here! She looks forward to get visits because she knows she will get so many hugs, cuddles and snacks! Everything is reasonably priced from medications to vaccines. I'm so glad I found them!
