C.E. I have been bringing my dogs to this vet for over 20 years. We have always received excellent care at a reasonable price. Highly recommend. Dr. Alfaro is kind, knowledgeable, and she's very good with our pets; she's the best!

T.C. We love San Joaquin Vet and have been going here for years. Very helpful staff and Dr. Alforo is wonderful. The only thing I wish would change is that they go back to having Saturday hours.

B.W. When one my dogs suddenly couldn't walk, I called several places but San Joaquin was able to squeeze me in same day. Dr. Alfaro is amazing. She didn't push unnecessary testing or treatments, explained the testing she recommended and possible medications while working within my budget. She took time to consult with an internal medicine specialist about our dogs complicated and confusing case to put her on the right medications. The staff got to know River on our several visits and thanks to Dr. Alfaro and them River began to walk again within a few days. Eight months later and I saw her try to jump for the first time the other day. I cannot thank Dr. Alfaro and staff enough for helping River.

H.A. I took my 3 years old sick cat to Armstrong Pet hospital. He was vomiting a lot. Vet ran all kinds of tests and told me that all the tests came back normal with the exception of one stating my cat had inflammation of the liver, but otherwise he was a healthy cat. I received medications that did almost nothing. I kept telling the doctor that my cat is not eating much! However, the vet just kept having me come back to buy more useless meds, and keep running more tests for TWO MONTHS AND A HALF! My cat was extremely yellow, scarily boney, just literally dying. He was in his last days. I took my cat to San Joaquin Valley Hospital crying asking the doctor to see my cat and save his life. What Armstrong couldn’t do in over two months San Joaquin vet DID IT IN JUST 2 WEEKS! San Joaquin vet did her own tests and I was told that my poor boy had Gallbladder and liver inflammation. Therefore, Jaundice, and his red blood cell counts were very low too. San Joaquin vet got my cat healthy right away. His liver, Jaundice, Gallbladder, and blood red cells count got under control! By the 3rd week my cat was healthy again and for the 4rd week we checked everything again and he remains healthy! Thank you San Joaquin valley vet hospital for saving my loving cat’s life! ❤️Pictures of before, after, as right now.
