D.F. Staff treated Big Kitty with love and respect. Doctor was straight forward with assessment of current physical condition. Check in and check out process was seamless. As a reminder, Fur babies are less expensive than human children. Examination expenses for an annual checkup are mid to slightly higher that other area costs. The Service side of the equation tips LPVP to positive side of the experience.
M.P. I usually don’t write reviews. I’m really happy with this location with all there help with my puppy. The ladies at this this location were very good with her she does not get close to nobody but these ladies made her melt. Hat off to all the workers at this facility great animal people. I have been to other facilities and never been satisfied. This location they are fair priced and great workers, I will be going back.!
S.H. This was the only office I found that would see my dog for an urgent care appointment on a day our regular vet was closed. It was well worth the drive. All of the staff we encountered were very kind and willing to answer all of my questions. Our pup was treated with care, and I left confident that we were on the right track with his treatment. Prices were more than reasonable, the office was clean, and wait time was minimal. Highly recommend for pet owners in the area!
R.F. Decided to switch Vets after our favorite long time Dr left the practice we used to use. Took my cat in for a first visit. Dr Kelly was so very nice and my cat lived her. Took care of the issue in question and everything went great. Definitely bring my other pets here and will make this our new Vet office.
A.F. Can’t say enough good things about this place! Absolutely the best veterinary facility in the area! As a person with anxiety, I have had problems with other veterinarians who don’t have patience with us as their clients and don’t take the time to explain any of the processes/ testing/ health issues with my animals. Thank goodness for the Lincoln Park Veterinary Hospital! Pretty much everyone I have personally met here have made sure my pets have been well taken care of. Dr. Bodenstein, Dr. E Kelly, and all the wonderful/ hard-working vet techs and receptionists have gone above and beyond to assist us in any way they can. We see and appreciate all the hard work that they put in especially during these tumultuous times. Our Bombon was a little old lady with many, many problems but even to the end we felt she was in the best care and that we could confidently seek answers from them when needed. We still take our little Mango here and will hopefully continue to use their services with any future pets. We trust that our pet’s issues will be taken seriously and that they do their absolute best to aid them and make sure we as their owners are kept well aware and ease our worries. ? Thank you for all you do from the bottom of our hearts ?.
H.R. My dog Hershey is very nervous about going to the vet's. My husband has to physically pick him up and carry him inside (80 lbs). We are new to this clinic however we have now had two appointments. Both doctors talked to him, got down on the floor giving him some cuddles and love. This eased both mom and Hershey's nerves.
G.S. I love Lincoln Park Veterinary Hospital. I went to them for the first time during the pandemic and had to hand over my 8 week old kitten for her first visit while I stayed in the car. It was heart wrenching but they reassured me during a phone call that she was fine. Now that we have can have an in-person visit - it's even better. They are all so loving and caring for my girl Gracie. I highly recommend LPVH!
E.M. I have gone here on and off (due to Covid and increase demand for vet care). Years ago I had my first visit with my dog Bella, an American bulldog, who had bad allergies that other vets couldn’t control. I paid a fortune going to the vet every 2 weeks and watched my dog suffer. I was referred by a friend and 1 visit later my dogs issues were under control. My recent experience yesterday left an ever bigger imprint on me. My 17 year old cat is not well so the staff worked hard to get me into cancellation spots, calling me several times determined to get him in. It was clean (which I do look at) and the doctor was extremely sensitive and realistic about options, even with my crying all over. I have been to almost every animal around. The prices are on par with other vets in the area but the care is much much better. Only thing I might recommend is going over pricing before treatment. Thank you for your care.
