K.P. Its taken my family a while to find a replacement vet since the person we went to retired about five years ago. It's been a lot of trial and error and it's surprisingly difficult to find somewhere that you feel your pets needs are validated and cared for. But I think its safe to say that we found exactly that with Lone Mountain. Their staff are all extremely friendly and very knowledgeable. They took great care of my dog, Scamp, who has a lot of anxiety at the vets. Even though he started off with snarls and "don't touch me", they ended the appointment with kisses and pets. They were great when handling him and making him feel better, you can tell both the Dr. And staff really knew their stuff and cared. Highly, highly recommend coming here.
S.K. This clinic is truly outstanding in every possible way. They care deeply about the animals and the people they serve, and their vets are extremely knowledgeable and skilled. They literally saved my dog's life after two other clinics refused or were unable to help him. They are also very fair with their pricing and don't try to push or sell you on anything that isn't necessary. The owner, Margie Quirk, is a wonderful human being who works incredibly hard to make Lone Mountain a safe and inviting place -- and she succeeds. I drive pretty far to take my animals to this clinic, but it is absolutely worth it. If I could give them ten stars I would!
S.P. Always a great experience no matter what vet I've seen and today was no exception! I took a foster kitten in for a leg amputation today. Of course I was worried but the staff kept me up to date with what was going on throughout the day. I received several pictures of Rye of all the love he received! Thank you Lone Mountain Desiree, Jackie and Dr Matt for all your care.
C.R. My family and I have taken our pets to Lone Mountain Vet since they opened in 1995! The owner and staff truly care about you, your pet and the community. They are a standout AAHA certified, Fear Free clinic!
E.D. The doctors at LMVH are fabulous and the staff is equally amazing. During the Covid shut down, they stayed open as much as was allowed by law and were actually instrumental in getting local government to increase veterinary access for our animals. The vets are experienced and very thorough. The staff is efficient and helpful. Their hospital is ACCREDITED, which is a huge achievement for veterinary clinics. When you have an appointment there is typically very little wait time and they do their best to accommodate emergencies. We drive from Reno to LMVH in Carson, as do many pet owners like us. Excellent, compassionate Five Star animal care!
L.M. Lone Mountain Veterinary Hospital is all about the best possible experience for the pets. They believe in providing a fear free visit for their patients. They are consistently creating ways to educate owners on the care and services they can provide and are willing to open their clinic for hands on demonstrations. This is a fun filled team with the animals best interests at heart. The care they show their patients carries over into the genuine care they have for staff and clients alike. They are supportive of the community they work and live in and I have seen them tirelessly trying to reunite lost pets with their owners both through networking and with boots on the ground. This is a top notch vet hospital with caring and conscionable professionals at the helm.
L.N. Margie Quirk and her staff are so outstanding that I can not say enough great things about them. They treated our little ShisTzu (Shania) with such love and kindness. We will always be grateful and would never take Shania or any pet we ever have anywhere else. Thank you all so much Shania loves everyone of you.
S.L.L. I am pleased with how amazing the staff is! I love how we can call and check in. You came right out and actually talked and ask questions. I love how smoothly everything went. The doctor actually calls you and explains what is happening and what they could or couldn't do. I love how you brought Clue out directly and explained everything again. This was the smoothest process I've ever been through. So much better than the old ways.. Thank you all for being so kind and doing what you can with our new adoption. We only had limited information on him but you able to check him and now he can start his healing process.
