Colonial Heights Animal Hospital was founded in 1972. We currently have twelve employees. We pride ourselves in striving to promote in-depth diagnostic care for our patients and utilizing the advice of consultants in medicine, opthalmology, radiology and surgery via telephone consultations and telemedicine. We place a great deal of emphasis on client service and education about our pets' needs. Preventative medicine and dentistry are stressed at our clinic.

Our office is conveniently located just off Fort Henry Drive in Colonial Heights. Go to the intersection of Fort Henry Drive and Colonial Heights/Lebanon Road.Turn on Colonial Heights Road (toward Warriors Path Park), the hospital is located on the Right about 1/10 of a mile.

K.B. Their VERY nice, but if I shared my whole experience or even partial I'd be here forever writing ?.. the pics are in the parking ?️ lot waitin.. They'z great with working Foxxie in fast for me. So WAITING to get to the bottom of the problem more after I get the pee sample back down there to them to send off.. GODspeed ?????✨.

C.C. Kelly is great with our dogs! Her sparkling personality and caring attitude help them to remain calm and have a positive experience during their visits! Dr. Burke is very thorough with their exams, explains in detail tests results and overall is a great veterinary doctor who really cares about his patients and their human parents. I highly recommend Colonial Heights Animal Hospital to anyone who's looking for a great place to bring their pets, and the peace of mind in knowing that they'll be well cared for!

J.F. We saw Dr. Hyatt yesterday. He has been our long time vet. We’ve also seen Dr. Gray. Every vet we’ve seen & every person we’ve talked with at CHAH has always been kind, compassionate and extremely helpful. I trust them completely and thank them for their wonderful care.

P.M. First ever time with them. I brought my 12 week old puppy for shots and a check up. Very reasonably priced. The vet was very patient with all my questions and concerns. They even offer a free sample of flea, tick, and worm medication for first time puppies. Overall, a great vet. My puppy goes back soon for his boosters and I know he won’t be afraid because of how kind everyone is.

D.H. There is a male tech that has been there a while I can't remember his name, but he is great! He always goes above and beyond. Not only does he make you feel comfortable but is amazing with your animals. The front desk is also wonderful. I am amazed at how they multitask and can still smile. The Veterinarians are absolutely wonderful. The compassion and knowledge they have sets them apart from all others.

P.S. The staff is so accommodating and treats my fur baby with genuine care and affection. I had all my animals being cared for by Colonial Heights Animal Hospital and each visit was experienced with a high level of professionalism and consideration. Thank you to all of the staff for what they do.

T.M. I had a wonderful experience with my dog Eva. They were so loving. The care she received was exceptional. I drove from Asheville NC to have them take care of my dogs torn ACL. I don’t believe they could have done anything better. Thank you so much for taking care of her! She has completely healed and has done great since the surgery. You all are wonderful! I highly recommend them!

M.H. This is by far the absolute best place around to take animals! The staff are friendly and caring and Dr Hyatt is the best vet I've ever known. He is truly a kind and gentle soul who loves animals. I will never go anywhere else! I brought in a stray cat someone dumped at my house and she was attacked in the middle of the night by a huge fat racoon. They were so good to her! I'm very thankful to the staff & Dr Hyatt!
