We pride ourselves in providing a clean, comfortable, odor-free environment for both our patients and their owners. We are committed to providing you and your pet with the best possible veterinary care. All of our staff members are well-trained to help make your visit more pleasurable.

Our Hospital is accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). This professional organization requires that our hospital meet the highest standards of excellence for the practice of veterinary medicine. It also requires that our hospital be inspected periodically in order to maintain our accreditation.

Visits to our hospital are by appointment, however, for your convenience we offer a special service. Your pet can stay with us for the day at no extra charge to you, and be given its annual exam, vaccines, medical diagnosis and treatment or whatever the need may be. You can feel confident that your pet will receive the best of care and will rest comfortably in a clean environment with a "soft blanket".

We have high expectations for our doctors, staff, and hospital. Our goal is to meet those expectations on a daily basis and to tend to your pet's needs in the best way we know how, "because pets are people too".

E.S.B. We were so pleased with our first visit to Oakton Animal Hospital. Our primary vet unexpectedly retired so we relied on reviews of friends and family as well as Google reviews. We we not remotely disappointed. The staff was friendly and cheerful. My 55lb Doodle is very curious and boisterous and the team just rolled with it! From the front desk staff to our amazing vet tech, everyone was so warm and professional! And Dr Svoboda was excellent. She thoroughly reviewed the medical records I supplied and worked with me to find a more appropriate alternative to my pup’s heartguard medication. She even discovered our previous vet had not fully vaccinated our girl. Overall I could not have been more pleased! We know we are in good hands now!

K.T. They spotted our cat's heart murmur at record speed. We thought it was a stuck hairball, but by the time we went home, they had done full blood work, sonogram, and 3 x-rays, with an echocardiogram scheduled for that week. Phenomenal turn around wait for an anxious kitty parent! Also, very upfront with costs.

S.K. My cats have always received superb care from Dr Ephraim and Dr. Svoboda. I have complete trust in them. The staff is very friendly and helpful as well and it's clear they genuinely love animals. Kristen was especially supportive and compassionate when I had to have my sweet Rocky euthanized recently. Not sure I could have gotten through that without her! Rocky had several health problems, but with the care he received from OAH he lived a happy life for over 19 years!

K.S. I recently had an emergency with my puppy, Rocky. He got cut from armpit to armpit when I was avoiding a car crash. We found out that it was caused by his seatbelt. As soon as I got him there, they saw him immediately and they were very informative. Everyone was very friendly. I highly recommend them!

T.P. The entire staff - front office, assistant, and Dr - were amazing. All made us feel very comfortable and confident that our pup was in great hands. Glad we found our forever vet!

C.M. Amazing staff at Oakton Animal Hospital! My baby had to go for an echocardiogram and needless to say I was super worried about the results. They were super loving to my baby Harley and so attentive. Results came back ok and I couldn't be happier with them for making me feel so much better at a stressful situation. Highly recommend!

C.S. I was really happy with the care my kitten received at Oakton Animal Hospital. I took him there for all his shots & a check up (the full kitten package they call it). And then we came back later when it was time for him to be neutered. The doctor was very knowledgeable & gentle with my lil guy and I was very pleased with everything. There prices were also more affordable than a lot of nearby places, but you're not missing out on any service.
