The story of our hospital dates back to the late 1800's. Dr. H.K. Miller owned The New York Canine Infirmary which was located in Manhattan. The Miller family's country property was located on our current hospital site in Mamaroneck, NY which was used as a boarding kennel to serve the clients of his practice. A small clinic was then established in 1903 to care for the boarding animals.That small clinic has served thousands of patients over the past 100+ years.

Throughout our growth into a full service hospital, we have stayed committed in continuing the same high quality of care into the future. Miller Clark Animal Hospital is a well-established, full-service, small animal veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care.

Our hospital is an accredited member of the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). AAHA is reccognized as the world's leading association for small animal hospitals. A trained AAHA practice consultant evaluates our facility, equipment, and procedures to make sure that we comply with strict standards that are constantly being updated.

We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. Board certified surgeons, internists, and cardiologists are available for in-house consultation. The facility includes a well-stocked pharmacy, surgery suite, x-ray capabilities, and a closely supervised hospitalization area.

At Miller Clark Animal Hospital we strive to offer not only sound advice, but also optimal veterinary care, thus allowing you the enjoyment of your companion for a maximum number of years. Our job is not only to treat your pet when he or she isn't feeling well, but also to help you learn how to keep your best friend happy and healthy.

P.M. A 2023 update: Dr. Whittington continues to be the best vet! She is so caring and skilled in helping our puppy. I highly recommend her.. Miller & Clark has been caring for our dogs for 40 years. We have always had the very best care from all of the doctors and technicians. The staff is likewise excellent. They are extremely helpful, very attentive, and care a great deal about our pet's health. Their care has uniformly been terrific.

Y.P. Corporate unfortunately has made the effectiveness of this hospital compromised. The doctors and staff are some of the most caring ppl around though.

T.A. Today we saw Dr. Whittington on a last minute walk in on a Saturday - we are very happy - she was diligent and thorough - prices were comparable to other vets so I m not sure why people are saying their prices are outrageous. They asked what we are comfortable and didn’t force us to buy or test anything. They gave us the info and as owners we can decide for ourselves. The nurses and receptionist were extremely kind and nice.

C.P. We are so thankful to have Dr. Klock as our doctor. He has saved our little girl’s life more than once. He is so knowledgeable and so thorough. He is so caring, kind, patient, and just the very best doctor we could ever ask for. We are beyond lucky to have found him. He is the ABSOLUTE BEST! The staff and front desk are always super helpful. D.M. Amazing service and incredible doctors. Dr. Arthur Klock is an expert, providing optimal care to pets while delivering a wealth of knowledge to their owners/family. His thorough explanations and craft are remarkable. Charlie's care has been spectacular and we know it is a direct result of the efforts put forth by the staff at Miller Clark. From the time your pet is handed off until the second it is returned you can feel the genuine care and love for animals amongst everyone. This place is a gem!

C.B. I visited Miller Clark the for first time yesterday for my 9 week old puppy's first check up. The staff was very welcoming and Dr. Whittington had such a nice way of handling Maisie during her exam. Since this was her first visit to a vet, I'm sure she will associate it with positive feelings and not be afraid to come back for future check ups.
