H.M.I really like MyVet. The staff is friendly and organized and they send appointment reminders when vaccines are due so I’m never afraid I forgot something. They take good care of my pup!
M.K.The best vet office in the city! I have been going to My Vet and Dr. Robin Freidman since before they opened on Cortland. I followed her from the previous vet hospital she was at. We are talking at least 25 years! I have never found a vet who takes better care of my four legged family members. I went today with my new rescue.. couldn't have been happier with the best treatment. Follow through has always been exceptional. Robin and the staff are always wonderful and compassionate. You can count on the best treatment whether it is a simple exam or a more severe illness. Everything is explained and every question answered.
I.E.I took Yosie, my four month old Boston Terrier, to five different vets before I tried this location. The other locations were unprofessional and mean to my puppy. This location was extremely kind, patient, and understanding. I had to put my baby down, but their customer service helped alleviate the experience a bit. Thank you guys.
D.S.C.Dr. Lee saved my Boba's life. He diagnosed him with a possible gallbladder mucocele, called hospitals in the area that had ultrasound equipment to confirm and could perform the surgery. This is just above and beyond. I started going to this vet because it's walking distance, had great reviews and I wanted to support female-owned businesses where I could. I continue to go to this vet for such amazing service and caring staff. I don't want to look at my phone log to see how many times I've called asking questions. They're 90% me over-worrying, but no one ever makes me feel ridiculous. Dr. Robin, Dr. Lee and Dr. Frye are all wonderful. Cori, Lauren, Faith and everyone else who's helped Boba- bless you! (Apologies for any name misspellings). THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!
E.D.Edit: We've been going for over a year now. Every single person here is wonderful, from the front desk, the techs, and especially to Dr. Lee. Everyone is so kind and gentle. It's visible how they work to quickly decipher how to best communicate with each animal which is great for my deaf, weird dog. They never make me feel rushed, I have as much time and information as I could possibly want.. We're frequent fliers, and my dog who's never liked the vet still loves Dr. Lee. He's improved the quality of my dog's life so much for so long. Always has a new idea to help, always willing to discuss my non-professional internet ideas and be straight with me about their validity.. They're Fear Free certified like many vets, but they're the only ones I've seen consistently prove it.. It's not the cheapest vet, but I promise you they put that money toward the care of the animals and pet parents.. I can't praise them enough.. Original: I haven't been there yet (next couple weeks) but I'm following my favorite vet here, so I know they hire intelligent, kind, curious docs. Shoutout to Dr. Lee! He always gives me the time I need and explains everything in detail. He is always looking for better medicine, and if he thinks there might be a better answer out there than the one he has, he'll find it.
J.V.We came across My Vet Animal Hospital when we dropped off our kitty for his grooming appointment and noticed a bright and cheerful Vet window. We called the following day and scheduled our kitties annual appointment. Everyone we spoke to on the phone were very pleasant, & friendly. They sent us online forms for an easy check-in. During drop off everyone was warm, welcoming. Dr. Fry called us and provided a in depth summary of their exam and addressed all of our concerns. Dr. Fry took time to explain things and inform us about conditions and treatments. Not once did I feel rushed through the conversation. Knowing our kitties are in good hands of such a wonderful teams, I couldn't ask for anything more. I highly recommend checking them out. ?.
M.B.We love this vet! We go on the regular for all our dogs needs. They staff is helpful and greet everyone by name.
L.C.My Vet - thank you, thank you, thank you for being so great to our girl Ripley today! She had her first dental procedure with two extractions, so of course we were nervous. Staff was super supportive and walked us through everything step-by-step. I even called back once and spoke to someone different, and they immediately knew who I was and who Ripley was! Made me feel like I was in great hands. The bill wasn't too bad either. I was expecting much, much more so it was a very nice surprise! I highly recommend My Vet for not only the amazing care they provide, but also how respectful they are of pet owners and their needs. Wonderful all around.
