One thing I like in addition to the staff and customer service, is the app.
Scheduling was much quicker and easier than my regular Vet.
They quoted a price over $800 to neuter a male kitten.

K.E. Our family had our oldest pup pass away on a Saturday morning and I wasn’t sure where I could take her to have her cremation done since it was the weekend. I called VCA and they were very friendly and compassionate even over the phone and told me we could bring her by when we were ready. After we said our goodbyes we took her in and the staff up front were professional and kind while I struggled to keep it together. They made sure I was happy with the memorial package we went with and were very empathetic. The urn and paw prints turned out perfectly. Then this week we received a card in the mail signed by the individual staff all expressing their sympathy for our loss as well as a couple of her paw prints on separate cards. This was really unexpected and touched our family. While they never met Nugget when she was alive they treated her and our family with love and respect that we won’t forget. Thanks to everybody at VCA West for your kindness and compassion; it doesn’t go unnoticed.

S.L. This has been my preferred location to take my dog for all his veterinary needs in Albuquerque. My experience with Dr Martinez and the staff has always been positive. Small parking in front but plenty near by, expect a 15 Minute wait. Would recommend.

G.S. We were seen very quickly here and even though our Nyx was there for shots she had the best time.. She loves the place and the people there and didn't show any real anxiety. Her tail never stopped wagging even during and after the shots.

A.G. My dogs have come here for a while now. They all see Dr. Voss. He’s a great vet. He’s always super nice and is great with my girl that is nervous. The techs are nice and great with my dogs too.

V.Z. It was only my third time at this location. I must say, they were COVID-19 prepared. Taking precautions like closing the waiting room and having families wait in their cars. Having the staff come to the car and notate concerns and reasons for the visit. Parking spots were numbered so you could call in your parking spot number to check in. I only wish they would've communicated ALL these changes and protocols to me during the confirmation call so I was prepared rather than getting out of my car and reading it alongside their windows. The vet tech who came to the car was great and answered all my questions. My fur baby seemed to like her too. The vet called me during her evaluation and we discussed her findings in detail, which I appreciated. She also offered to get me a brochure on what was discussed during our phone call to take home. When it came to the last woman I interacted with at checkout, I felt almost like an inconvenience when I asked questions and rushed. I didn't get the brochure so I called after I left to get the info so I could read up on it and felt I had to apologize for bothering her and explain. Maybe she was having a bad day but I don't think anyone should have to explain "why" they're asking questions regarding their fur babies care. I do plan to continue to come here because overall the visit was good. The purpose of this review is to give them feedback to help them get better at what they do.

J.W. Amazing Vet care facility! Super nice front desk people. Dr. and nurses were great. Explained everything thoroughly and answered all my questions! They also offered a healthy plan for my new puppy for shots, getting spayed, check ups, for a monthly subscription fee. Which is way better than having to pay hundreds of dollars up front. Great job guys!

O.S. They’re currently treat my older dog Bender Oak for a knee infection that won’t heal, and possible Cushings. He loves loves loves the vet techs here, which is why I keep bringing him. The staff are also keenly aware that not all pets are well behaved. While Bender is an angel when he doesn’t feel well, they have put us in a room to keep away from reactive dogs and to keep him soothed, calm and full of kisses.
