LLAC is a mixed animal practice, offering services for small, large and exotic animals including wildlife. LLAC is a "modern" technology animal hospital located in Los Lunas, New Mexico. LLAC has been under the direction of Donald J. MacDougall DVM since 1987. The goal remains unchanged today- to provide the very best comprehensive quality health care possible for all animals. We have complete testing and diagnostic capabilities. We offer laboratory and X-ray, Ultra Sonography, ECG, Patient Monitoring Technology, Surgery Suites, ICU and Recovery Areas for both small and large animals. H. I can’t even begin to express my gratitude to these amazing people, these awesome hard working professionals were able to save my dog after an intestinal blockage, and I absolutely have my dog back, he’s doing amazing after surgery! The amount of care and support I received during this scare was the best we’ve ever encountered during a visit to a vet, and I will tell you, We’ve been to many vets and I have to say the level of compassion and care is beyond what people display these days, they made me feel like family, enough so I’m more than willing to make our 1. 5 hour drive from Rio Rancho to go here. And beyond all these amazing qualities, they are incredibly affordable for quality care, they even offer in-house testing which can ease a world of tension off of waiting on results. And I gotta say the secretarys are so sweet and kind, one in particular went above and beyond, she is quite positively the sweetest person, and I’m so sorry I never got your name! But know how incredible you are! All in all I gotta say if you made it this far, I %100 recommend this place, beyond happy.

N. I recently had to put my dog down due to her being very old and in pain. Los Lunas Animal Clinic was very compassionate, caring, and professional. I just received a card from them yesterday signed by everyone saying sorry for my loss. It was thoughtful and loving.

J.H. Wouldn't take my dogs anywhere else. I don't feel like may places truly care about your animals anymore like they do. Dr Thompson is awesome, and my dogs love his "Good Scratchins" included with every visit. They are also always able to get my dogs in same day for illness. Their prices are also fair and honest compared to anywhere else in Albuquerque. It is 100% worth the drive from Albuquerque.
