Serving the Frankfort area since 1974. Owned by doctors Myra and Denis King since 1986.

We offer wellness and preventative medicine, individualized vaccination protocols, parasite prevention, nutrition counseling, senior wellness, dermatology, pain management, microchip placement. As well as Diagnostic services including radiology, ultrasonography, endoscopy, complete blood count and chemistry panels, endocrine testing (thyroid and cortisol), bile acids and urinalysis. Therapeutic services include intravenous fluid therapy, hypothyroidism, and diabetic stabilization, oxygen therapy cage, observation area, and isolation area.

Our surgical procedures offered are: elective surgeries, soft tissue, orthopedic and laser surgery.

Dental prophys, polishing, and extractions are also available.

Our boarding kennel lets us pamper your pet when you are away. Boarding services are provided for multiple day stay or individual day care. All boarded pets must be current on vaccinations including boardetella. Our kennel is climate controlled and separated into canine and feline areas.

H.P. We love FAC! We usually see Dr Morgan. She is so kind, very knowledgeable, and even puts my most anxious dog at ease. She was wonderful with us (humans) when we had to put our cat down last May, she really cared about our cat but also our feelings as well. We were so impressed by the professionalism as well as human kindness that we’ve been bringing our other pets here ever since! The staff is always helpful, friendly, and accommodating to our needs! I’ve also taken my pets to vets in Lexington and others in Frankfort in the past, this is by far my favorite, and I feel like the prices are very fair.

He was diagnosed with diabetes & they made sure I was completely comfortable giving him injections. After only a week, he is acting great. I highly recommend this vet & the whole office. You & your pet will be treated like family.

This is a good animal clinic, I’ve never been anywhere else for my yorkie, she got groomed last week and it’s the very best job that could’ve possibly been done, she’s beautiful, the vets are so good here I don’t need a preference, my girl is healthy and beautiful! 5 stars for the staff as well they are the best!

B.C. The staff was nice but the woman who came out to take us back was rude and stuck up. Vet herself was very caring and knowledgeable. I didn't like that they were just ordering things onto the bill without discussing prices though. Ended up with a $200 visit. They don't really call to remind you that next treatment is coming up or call to check in on my cat. Just seem like a money grab and go and as a full entity don't really care about your pets.

A.T. We have 4 dogs that saw the vet. The staff was very friendly and the vet was awesom. Each dog visit was fast and very thorough. We have big dogs and had no trouble during our visit.
