Bells Ferry Veterinary Hospital has served the Acworth, Kennesaw, Woodstock and Canton, Georgia areas since 1984. Our goal has always been to practice the highest quality veterinary medical care in friendly and caring environment. We are a full-service veterinary medical facility, specializing in dogs, cats and exotic pets (such as ferrets, hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs, mice, rats and lizards). Our services include Surgery, Medicine, Digital Radiology, Ultrasound and Endoscopy. We also offer holistic or alternative medicine like acupuncture, chiropractic, massage and nutrition consultations at our Holistic Veterinary Care Center.

H.S. Wonderful place for our 3 pets. The whole team here is amazing. We board our 2 dogs and cat here often. They check in with us while we’re out of town. My pets are my world and I am soo appreciative that they are cared for impeccably when I am out of town. Thank you Bells Ferry Veterinary Hospital!

C. Just took my pet rat here for a teeth trimming. Exotic exam fee was much more reasonable here than any other office I called in our area, and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely be bringing my other fur babies here in the future ?.

S.M. This facility truly cares. I have two senior cats that require more frequent visits and they take such good care of them! One cat, Reznor, is very…spicy with strangers. They’re the first vet office to offer me “kitty calming kits” with easy-to-administer meds that make such a stress-inducing visit so much less chaotic. They make an effort to make me feel better about having a bratty kitty and never let on that it’s burdensome to bring her in, unlike other vet offices we used to frequent. The team is very responsive, accommodating and kind. I’m happy to have established care with this practice.

L.C. Consistent with the best care. The staff is remarkable, they always know our dogs. We rescue older dogs so there are always some medical challenges. Dr. Miller has helped care and transition 3 of our geriatric pups. She makes certain they are comfortable and living at their best. The kennel staff boards the dogs when we travel and allow us to call and check in. Always honest reports. Best facility Greatly appreciate all they do!

C.D. This vet clinic is absolutely fantastic! We just moved here and were looking for a vet to do the annual checkup for our 2 cats. The moment we came in the staff was extremely welcoming and nice. After sitting in the lobby filling out some paperwork the staff saw that dogs were going to come in and asked me if I wanted to move with the cats into a separate room so they wouldn’t get stressed out over the dogs.. The tech (I didn’t hear if her name was Lori or Laura) was extremely sweet after entering the room. She knew just how to get my cats feel comfortable and was very patient in getting them when they were hiding. She was also very nice to me when asking all the questions and reassured that any answers I didn’t know off hand were no problem.. The vet, Dr. Miller, was equally sweet. She came in after she examined them both to go over all the findings. She gave me tips, listened to my concerns and gave a lot of advice without ever trying to sell me anything that they sell in the clinic.. My cats came in pretty anxious (which animal likes the vet, right?) but came out as if they had a spa day! And that after both getting shots etc. So happy I found them!

D.F. It has been four years since I gave these guys a review.. Out of all of the many vet offices I have been to in the Metro Atlanta area these guys are the absolute best. Hands-down.. They care and are compassionate and are so very kind.. Trevor called me late last night and discussed until the wee hours test results. Dr. Temple is kind and patient and awesome.. These guys are amazing and go way far and beyond.. I cannot recommend them more.. Great office and staff. I have been taking my dogs to get Chiropractic at Bells Ferry. Dr. Whiting is the BEST.
