A.A. I have been going to Blum for 3 years now since owning my cat and they have been nothing but amazing. They helped me quickly realize the troubles I was noticing in my cat was chronic UTI's and helped us manage it quickly and as painlessly as possible for my little guy. In relation to pricing their pricing is on par if not better than other places in the Chicago area as well. We have also taken our dog here as well and they have handled him flawlessly! He's very reactive and not great around other dogs and new people and they knew how to keep him as calm as possible without causing him too much stress. They're always the sweetest and very professional! Dr. O'reily is just the best as well! Highly recommend! :).

S.N. I have only the best things to say about this veterinary clinic. In mid January I noticed a small lump along my dog's lower jaw, and called Blum to get in asap (even though we're not in the neighborhood anymore, we had great experiences there and I trusted them to be straightforward with their professional opinions). We got some tough news from the xrays and FNA that we were looking at cancer- not something the office can handle internally- but their next steps were life changing for me. Dr Henriquez and the rest of the care team were completely compassionate with me, gave me space to grieve and collect my thoughts before recommending next steps and provided some resources for oncology specialists and enough information for how to move forward. When you hear your dog has cancer, life feels like it comes to a violent halt- and knowing your vet team cares about quality of life as much as you do makes all the difference. It may cost a little more to come here compared to the cheapest offices, but you are getting a huge return in terms of care, attention to detail, no unhelpful speculation, and transparency of information. I couldn't recommend this office more.

C.O. I’ve been taking my pets to Blum for decades. Dr Marks is now the go-to vet for my dog Callie. Everyone at Blum is kind, helpful and caring, and I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Marks. They might be pricier than some others, but to feel that my pet is being so well-cared for makes it worth it to me.

J.C. Blum Vet is a great place to bring your pet. We’ve been going here for 6 years now after moving to Chicago and have watched their continued growth and enhancement.. Scheduling the appointment online was a breeze. There’s a cat entrance and dog entrance, with half-walled waiting areas that eases any stress your pet might otherwise have from overstimulation. There are also hooks on the reception desk (see photo) to place leashes if you need them.. As part of our visit, my cat received a complimentary toy and was given lots of treats.. The care that Blum provides is stellar! The staff are extremely attentive. During our vaccination visit, they checked my cat’s weight, teeth, musculature, nails, ears, etc. and vocalized observations and status on his health.. If you can, book your cat’s next visit with Dr. Hudson.

R.P. Blum Animal Hospital always exceeds my expectations. I have two greyhounds, which in case you’re not aware, they have different blood chemistries than other canines, and they always take the time to talk about the differences with me and don’t compare my dogs to just any other dog. Even when our regular vet is not available, we still receive quality care from the other veterinarians and staff members. Thanks for taking care of my two greyhounds and making us feel a part of the Blum Family.

J.B. I have been going to Blum since 2001. Dr Georgesen has been there pretty much the whole time. She always greets me with a smile and a hug and addresses my concerns with compassion and a sense of humor when it's called for. I arrived early for my appointment yesterday and didn't wait to long before Toby and I were taken back to the room. Toby got his checkup and shots and we were out in less than 40 minutes.. I can't imagine taking my pet anywhere else. When I call with questions the staff is helpful and friendly. When I bring my dog for appointments it's always a very pleasant atmosphere (even if my dog is being disruptive). What can I say? I love Blum! They are the best.
