Frey Pet Hospital has been a hospital member of the American Animal Hospital Association since 1978. As a member, we have passed comprehensive evaluations which include a quality assessment review on the clinic's facility, medical equipment, practice methods and pet health care.

We are a full-service, five veterinarian small animal hospital that has been serving Cedar Rapids, Iowa for over 50 years. We are here because we truly love animals and are deeply committed to practicing and promoting quality pet care.

C.J. We just moved to CR about a year ago and Frey was close to our house so we called them.. they have been fantastic to work with. They are kind and caring to our pets and take the time to make sure we are okay with everything before we leave. Our senior dog had labs done so she didn't see the vet but he called me to give me the results (all good) and took the extra time to help me with a couple of concerns I had for her. He spent about 15 minutes on the phone making sure I had all the options and advice I needed and never made me feel like I was cutting into his day. Highly recommend this crew of wonderful people to care for your pets.

D.B. A friend of mine had a pet in need of help but wasn't sure if she would make it in to pick up her pet so she asked me to help. This visit took place just prior to the recent winter storm. My short time there is what thI s review is about. I was warmly greeted by one of three receptionist. Although the place seemed busy I was quickly asked my intentions. After providing the answers I was in and out in no time. Prompt, efficient and courteous staff. Her dog was taken care of and the world is a better place because of the great care and compassion this place offers. In my opinion this place does a great job in its course to help out pet owners and their pets.

The staff is very friendly and the Doctors are help full and treat me and my dog as if I were their only patient. I cant say enough good things about them. I will all ways bring my pet to them.

S.P. Frey pet hospital has been great with our rescue dog Storm. She is fearful when going to the vet and with new people. We have done fear free visits with them to get her used to it. They let us enter in a side door because the lobby is too much for her. They make sure she always sees the same vet and they do everything they can to make our visits as calm and stress free as possible for our dog.

T.M. The staff at Frey are amazing. They were so kind when I had to put down my fur baby. I bring all my pets to Frey and will continue to do so. Great people.

M.R. We have been with Frey's for over 20 years and have had our two Pugs there. When our first passed away, they were very nice and helped us with questions we had for our second. I can't say enough about how happy we are with them from the moment we need to call for an appointment (and their pet portal online works AWESOME), to all the staff when we get there, to the vets and techs. They listen to us and provide great care (and just attention) to our little girl. Always professional but still very friendly and personable. We know our pup is in great hands!
