T.D. My cat was diagnosed with a rare condition at the end of February, and she was referred to Dr. Taylor with Kimberly Crest. He has been working with me, along with additional vets, to come up with a solution for her. Although it is frustrating, he hasn't given up on her, and that is all I can ask for. The staff are very compassionate and call to check on my cat's condition regularly. Thank you for helping me fight this battle while trying to give her the best chance possible!
S.B. I had a review up yesterday, but I took it down. It didn't do them justice. This vet center and it's staff, unbelievable how kind, caring, and considerate they are. They did so much for my good boi Koda.. The girls there are amazing, the vet was awesome. Even though my good boi passed away, I can say I know he was happy his last day getting all the attention from them. I know this post still doesn't do justice to how grateful I am. I will never not recommend them. And a big shout out to Lainey, for goin above and beyond for us in this difficult time! I wish there were more people like you in the field.
E.P. Kimberly Crest saved my dogs life! The advanced imaging that he needed immediately was either here, or driving 2+ hours away. He was referred in because of his dire situation, and the team jumped right in with a CT, then spinal tap. Dr. Bahns was very honest and straightforward with our dogs prognosis. It wasn't good. She was aggressive with his treatment.. menengitis is a hard thing to beat. After 4 days of not knowing our dogs outcome, he is now walking on his own, and showing no signs of damage to his brain or body. As far as my interaction with the Kimberly Crest staff, they were a well oiled machine. Everyone knew their job, and they surpassed it. The doctor who treated Quincy is our earth angel. I pray that her knowledge, experience, passion, and kindness, will continue to carry her forward. We need doctors like her! Thank you all for your care. Quincy is getting stronger every day. We love and appreciate you!
H.V. I went to Kimberly Crest on the advice of my local Vet in Clinton. My 11 1/2 year old Lab is having some gum & teeth issues, and since Clinton doesn’t have dental X-ray capabilities, we were referred to Kimberly Crest. We saw Dr Laura Bahns, and I was very impressed with her! She sat on the floor and examined Hawkeye thouroughly. She explained possible reasons of his gingivitis and gave me a quote…. Yes, it was higher than I expected…. between $1, 656 to $1, 928, depending on what needs to be done?. Now I love my dog thoroughly, but in this economic era, this seems like an unnecessary expense. My dog eats & chews OK, but you just don’t know whats going on inside his mouth? So I am debating & waiting?…. maybe I’ll play the Mega Millions a little more and hope I win the lottery??. But I’ll most likely do it, because my dog is my fur child and I’d do anything for him just like most of you would do for your pets! You just can’t put a price on the amount of unconditional LOVE ❤️ that they give to you!
J.S. Dr. Bahns is a fantastic vet. She loves our animals and cares deeply about their health. She's patient in her explanations and has helped several of our critters pass through to the great beyond is comfort and dignity.
K.H. We had an extremely unfortunate accident with our dog. His name is Cheddar but we affectionately call him monster. Our monster squeezed through a cracked window of our moving car to chase a squirrel and absolutely shattered his hind leg. It was awful, and the odds to keep his leg were not great. Dr. Less made room in his schedule to get us in ASAP to save the leg and he is apparently a miracle worker. Today, our monster still has 4 legs, with almost perfect functionally. We had our final check up appointment and his recovery has been best case scenario because of a really great surgeon and his team. Thank you!
A.P. My dog has extreme anxiety about going to the vet, probably from our past experiences at other offices where he was forced onto the exam table or into a muzzle in a situation where he was already very scared. We decided to switch to Kimberly Crest based on reviews. This was the best vet experience we’ve ever had. They took so much time to gain his trust, make him comfortable, and be flexible with their approach when administering his shots. He went from having his tail tucked all the way under his body to wagging his tail and accepting treats by the end of the appointment. I finally have hope that vet visits won’t always have to be such a stressful experience for my baby!
