E.H. I came in with my German Shepherd because of an ear infection and a hotspot. I will tell you that my dog was due for a few vaccinations. It seems that every time I come in I get a different veterinarian so it's hard to have a relationship with them. I would like to get to know who is working on my dog at a more personal level. Your pets are family and we treat them like our children. I have to explain every time I go in why my German Shepherd is missing his tail. And let's not go into the vet techs, I'm a bit turned off by them and their questions about my dog. It seems that they tried to add more and more vaccinations and services. I just question how much they are needed as I've kept my pets very healthy. And I don't believe in over vaccinating them. It is not hard walking out of there with a bill of over $500. Who can afford that each time you walk into their practice?? And I have two dogs so now we're talking about $1000. 00. To make matters worse, after I get home I get a phone call from the front desk saying that they forgot to add a few charges that I still need to pay for it, REALLY! ?.
P.P. Nice clean office, grateful they were able to see my cat quickly. With everything else I had to pay for with the visit I'm really disappointed they slipped a nail clipping in to the bill. She was there for a medical reason not a manicure. It was slipped in to the paperwork and never mentioned it was being done, I would have never authorized that. She's left with no claws and was not something we asked for.. *you either have Natalie under. Pamela Carty or my daughter Kara Carty(she scheduled appointment?.
R.S. I was out of town and I recently needed to use another provider to euthanize my dog. It was not a good experience and that experience made me realize how incredibly compassionate, thoughtful and efficient the Animal Medical Center was in euthanizing my other dogs in the past. Let’s face it, euthanizing a pet is never a happy experience for anyone and it’s never as cheap as we’d like it to be, but when it’s time to be done, this is the place you want to do it. They treated me and my animals kindly and respectfully. Thank you all.
L.O. We have had nothing but positive experiences bringing our puppy here! Dr Perkins is so kind and I appreciate how he explains things to me thoroughly. All of the staff I have interacted with have been great too. We are in good hands here! Our pup enjoys all the treats and loving she gets too!
C.M. Dr. Perkins is awesome! He is very thorough and personable. Dr. Ruter is also awesome! She follows up and answers questions timely.. The administrative team are very friendly, compassionate, and patient - never rude or short. They always are very pleasant to deal with.. The entire team at Animal Medical Center not only take excellent care of my pets, they all are very consultative and educated on best treatments and approach for care.
R.G. Took my 12 week old puppy here for a check up / vaccinations. This is the second vet in the area I tried (I wasn't too fond of the first vet I went to) and this will be the last. These are the exact people I want treating my animals. The team is very caring and kind. The vet is super knowledgeable and goes through all treatment options before proceeding. I am thrilled to have such a great vet in the area. Highly highly recommend.
I.A. Dr Hartz runs a fantastic animal hospital! AMC was my first and only choice for my chihuahua, and we have continued going there for 6 years even after moving an hour away! Friendly staff, clean waiting room, patient rooms and OR, and recently the outside had a makeover making this a beautiful place inside and out. I never had one complaint in all the years my dog has been a patient. He’s had tooth extractions and cleanings and the advice for care I’ve been given is appropriate and well-explained. I’ve had to call at times for questions about my dogs vaccine history and treatments and I was met with a friendly and helpful staff member. There’s no reason why you shouldn’t go to this trusted veterinarian and animal hospital, in business for over 30 years! That says something!
