M.L.V. I wanted to follow up on my review of Cranston Animal Hospital. We moved from NY (thank god) at the beginning of March when our nearly 15 year old Aleister's lymphoma came back. They were super thoughtful, tested his bumps, did an on site blood test and gave us a very realistic, but hopeful prognosis. Thanks to their care (and our beautiful backyard) he bounced back for 4 great and memorable weeks. Unfortunately, once we realized his time was soon to arrive, it was late Friday. I'm sorry we were unable to bring him in, but thankfully we were here for him when he passed on at home. They were so kind to call us on Monday morning and we are now awaiting his ashes as they thoughtfully still took him for cremation after the fact. I've been to many vets, but CAH are the kindest by far (Dr. Rockwell, Jessica, & Ginger esp. ). Thanks for giving our beloved guy some extra time that really made us and him happy xo. We look forward to bringing our younger cat to you for checkups asap. You guys are the best.
M.A. Dr. Rodehorst and the entire team at Cranston Animal Hospital are absolutely wonderful. My dog became a patient there this year and I am so happy with the excellent care she receives and the positive and welcoming environment that the staff fosters with each visit. Everyone on staff stops by to say hello and they all treat my dog like she’s a little celebrity. They always take the time to bond with her, dote on her, and ensure she’s totally comfortable. It also seems like the whole team works really well together and truly enjoys their work. From check in to check ups to billing, every detail is well managed and exceeds every expectation.
M.A. I recently brought my anxiety-ridden dog to Cranston Animal Hospital to see Dr. Rodehorst. The staff was very friendly and welcoming and I did not have to wait long with my nervous dog. I have used Dr. Rodehorst for my pets for many years and highly recommend her. My dog felt comfortable with her (as best as possible) and the staff was very friendly.
C.H. Staff treat our fur babies like royalty. I know when I hand them my pugs leash and my cats crate I know they are in good hands. Prices reasonable so far. Definitely would recommend this place for your fur babies. Thank you for helping us to keep my pets healthy.
J.G. They take such good care of my, Tucker! He is always excited to come in to see the staff, even when momma is nervous! With that being said, they show so much love to the animals and are very kind and informative to us pet parents! Would highly recommend Cranston Animal Hospital!
F.B. We recently moved to RI and used the internet to find a vet for our 2 cats. They're both around 14 years old. Patches, the calico, is diabetic. Herbie, the gray stripy guy, has pancreatitis.. We were really happy with our first visit. The staff were helpful and professional. The visit was for their annual checkups but if we do need medical care we will call cranston animal hospital.. We highly recommend this practise.
B.N.J. I love it here! So does my best friend Buck! They dont rush you, they got me in fast for an issue , they answer all questions and the whole staff is super nice! The prices are extremely fair and won't break your back! If you want good quality care for your pets go here! They are awesome. I wish people doctors were this good! I look forward to a long healthy life with my best friend and many years with Cranston animal hospital keeping him healthy!
D.C. After great experiences with 4 Paws turned horrible for my late pup I was in no way going back there. Cranston Animal Hospital came highly recommended and I couldn’t be more pleased. They are very friendly, thorough and accommodating. I’m a life long Pit Bull owner and although Valentine is very friendly and wouldn’t hurt a fly she is still a very strong 60 pound dog so I get anxious when she is not in my site however the staff at CAH are very well versed in all dogs and are very trustworthy.
