The Honolulu Pet Clinic, LLC is a well-established, full-service, small animal veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care.

We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services: Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pets' complete health care needs.

Surgical Services: Our state-of-the-art surgical suite provides for the performance of a wide variety of surgical procedures.

Anesthesia: We utilize the safest available anesthetics to provide an extra margin of safety, especially for our older or high-risk patients. Using the most modern equipment, the patient's vital signs are monitored during all anesthetic procedures.

Internal medicine consults: We offer in-hospital referrals to an internal medicine specialist who performs ultrasounds, endoscopic procedures and helps us with the diagnosis of more complicated cases.

H. The entire staff here is friendly, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with for the health care of my Malshi! They are open 7 days a week and also provide after-hours emergency care if needed! I am really happy with the service and care my best friend receives to stay healthy! I highly recommend The Honolulu Pet Clinic!

L.W. Dr. Hsu and Dr. Barrett are great. We have a rescue who has been at THPC since we transferred from another vet and have been happy here. They've been accommodating with appointments and the staff takes the time to listen (shoutout to Sean! ). Rates are competitive and a value when considering the experience at this clinic. Medical care here is sound, careful, and conservative. I appreciate Dr. Barrett's background in rehab work. Dr. Hsu always has our puppy's best interests in mind and has been honest (even when letting us know he was getting overweight lol). Boarding here has been great too. Our little guy loves the care here.

A.L. I am very happy I found Dr. Hsu and the Honolulu Pet clinic. Everyone is very caring, kind, welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful at Honolulu Pet clinic. We have been taking our two shih tzu dogs to Honolulu Pet clinic since they were puppies. Even though we moved to Kailua, we continue taking our fur babies to Dr. Hsu to Honolulu Pet clinic. Dr. Hsu is an incredible, kind, knowledgeable and caring doctor. Mika and Kona, our fur babies, adore Dr. Hsu too. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Highly recommend.

R.L. I have always felt their #1 priority was my pets health and their well being.. I have been taking my two senior dogs there (11yo female lab & 8yo male lab) for the past 3 yrs.. Dr. Hsu has been the main provider.. A lot of pet owners worry about “cost” but I truly know the Staff and Doctors here do this job because they love animals; not for the money. That being said; they always provided me with treatment options and approx costs.. Dr. Hsu has great bedside manner. (More “floorside” manner because he just gets down to the ground with my dogs) He kind of just tells me straight forward what’s going on. Some owners are always torn what to do, but he helps navigate the best outcome for my pets.. Other staff that deserve some praise:. Shaun has been awesome, friendly and Calm. Elizabeth pure heart and very relatable. Rachel always friendly on the phone and going extra to help.

N.M. Last weekend I called the emergency line at Honolulu Pet Clinic due to my dog's face being swollen on one side. Dr. Hsu was able to confirm it was an abscess tooth and was able to get my dog in to have it removed the next day! They were so accommodating and worked with me financially as this surgery was not cheap. I really appreciated the great care the staff took to get my dog in and taken care of immediately. This was very stressful and I appreciated the staff being so kind and willing to help in my situation. Thankfully my little guy is recovering great and is much happier. Thank you!

J.K. They took good care of my Silly Kitty and helped me to learn how to read cat behavior better. I didn't realize my cat was experiencing so much distress with her teeth and ears. Thankfully I came to THPC. This team of professionals is TOP NOTCH. Not only were they very compassionate in caring for my cat's health but they are non-judgmental toward non-vet owners, who are (mostly innocently) ignorant of cat issues. I am no longer ignorant of hidden cat issues! I not only feel confident that my kitty's health was their top priority but also that they truly believe in owner education. They equipped me with information, tools, and a website that teach me how to better care for the needs of my own pet. As a result, I was able to take this new information confidently made changes to my cat's diet, parasite prevention, toothbrushing habits (yes! ), and even added running water fountains (Petsafe Drinkwell) in our home to entice more water drinking (and more water play! ). As she became healthier, my kitty got her spunk back! Lastly, every person in this place is amazing. They are efficient, organized, and super kind, friendly, knowledgable, etc. Please do your pet a favor and bring them to these caring professionals.
