    Mission
To ensure the high quality and consistency of care that our clients and their pets so richly deserve, we will build our foundation upon the following cornerstones:

    1. Compassion: All patients treated at our hospital will be given gentle medical care, with every regard being devoted to their physical and mental comfort. We will always remember that our clients are bonded to their pets as family members and that the emotional comfort of the human companion is of vital importance. We believe firmly in the quality of life of both our patients and their family.

    2. Customer Service: Every client will be treated as a good and trusted friend. All interactions will be warm and courteous and service will be consistently excellent.

    3. Top-Quality Medicine: We are dedicated to practicing the “gold-standard” of medicine. Every client will be offered this level of care. Clients who elect for a different standard of medicine will receive this without judgment and with the same compassion as would any of our customers. All doctors will regularly pursue post-graduate continuing education commensurate with this level of medicine.

    5. Integrity: All interactions with clients, patients, employees, and vendors will be conducted with the utmost honesty and fairness.

One of the strong points of our philosophy is our teamwork attitude and our emphasis on communication. We believe in delivering up-to-date services to our patients in the most compassionate and humane manner possible as well as being caring and sensitive with our clients.

    Services

    Immunization and Wellness Care
We strive to prevent illness whenever possible. The time and effort invested in Wellness programs has rewards for both pets and owners. Our Wellness programs are designed specifically for your pet and include: Comprehensive physical exam; internal parasite testing; heartworm and flea control; vaccination program; spay and neuter package; and specialized blood tests for all life stages.

    Surgery
We offer the most advanced surgical techniques and technology. All patients are carefully screened for safety, and anesthetics are specifically tailored to your pet. Surgical services and facilities include: fully trained veterinary and technical staff, to ensure the safest, most efficient, state-of-the-art procedures for your pet; heated surgery tables for greater comfort; advanced sterilization techniques; ECG and oxygen saturation monitors; intensive after surgery care and full blood testing.

    Dental Care
Regular professional cleaning is important to maintaining your pet's teeth. We use modern and safe ultrasound to clean each tooth thoroughly - above and below the gum line. Dental technicians polish teeth to create a smooth, lustrous tooth surface more resistant to plaque buildup. Oravet professional tooth wax treatments help prevent future tarter build up. In addition, our staff will help you find a dental home care program that works for you- and your pet.

    Pain Management
Veterinary patients feel pain and discomfort under the same circumstances as people do. We know that recognizing and alleviating pain in animals is the essence of good patient care.

    Hospice / Euthanasia Services
Saying goodbye to a long-time friend is painful. We work with clients to ensure their pet's comfort and dignity. Services include taking care of the remains as directed by the client.

    Internal Medicine
We cover all areas of internal medicine, including: Cardiology; Ophthalmology; Neurology; Dermatology; Gastroenterology; Oncology; Endocrinology; among others.

    UltraSound
This non-invasive, state-of-the-art technology uses sound waves to painlessly examine specific internal organs, primarily the heart and abdominal organs. Pregnancy exams are also available.

    Endoscopy
High-tech fiber optics permits direct visual examination and biopsies of your pet’s gastrointestinal system. This allows for more accurate diagnosis and treatment of oral, esophageal, stomach, colon and even upper intestinal tract disease. Foreign objects can also be removed without the need for surgery.

    Bronchoscopy
High-tech fiber optics permits direct visual examination of your pet’s respiratory system. This allows for more accurate diagnosis and treatment of diseases affecting the nasal cavity, trachea and lungs.

    Laparoscopy
High-tech fiber optics permit direct visual examination of your pet’s abdominal cavity without the need for a large surgical incision. This allows for more accurate diagnosis and treatment of various abdominal diseases and disorders.

    Radiology
Radiology – or X-rays – help our veterinarians evaluate muscular-skeletal, cardiovascular(cardiopulmonary), gastrointestinal, reproductive and urinary systems.

    Specialists
Why not let a specialist take care of all your pet's health care needs?
Both Dr. Maloney and Dr. Niki are Diplomates of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners. The ABVP represents a group of clinicians who have chosen to persue advanced clinical training. Certification as a Diplomate typically takes 3-4 years to achieve and involves a rigorous program of credentialing, case report submission, and a series of practical and written tests. Once certified, doctors must maintain ongoing continuing education credits and undergo regular recredentialing. Out of the the more than 60,000 veterinarians licensed in the United States, there are less than 800 AVBP Diplomates, and only 4 in Idaho. Dr. Maloney is the only canine/feline specialist, and Dr. Niki is the only feline specialist, who work in general practice. Whether your pet needs vaccines or advanced cancer treatment, having a specialist as your pet's "family practitioner", you know that you are getting the best care available.

    Microchipping
Microchips have helped reunite thousands of pets with their families. We offer the most widely used microchip products to increase the chances of a safe recovery.

    Fully Stocked Pharmacy
We stock a wide range of the best veterinary drugs in the animal healthcare field.

    Boarding
Pets are like our children – we feed, nurture and lavish attention on them. Our highly qualified animal care attendants do the same when you can't be there. We board dogs and cats. Our animal care attendants provide tender loving care, such as brushing and cuddling. Cats enjoy the picture window in the cat suite. Dogs are walked outside to keep them happy and active. We are open 7 days a week with convenient drop off and pick up times.

    Day Care
Is your pet unhappy or lonely while you're at work? Give your companion the personal attention he or she deserves throughout the day. We offer the same TLC and outdoor time offered to our longer-term guests.

    Bathing
Treat your pet to a luxurious bath. Our special, cleansing baths remove dirt, debris and that doggie pet odor – your pet will feel fresh and revitalized. If scratching is a problem, our medicated baths contain soothing agents that stop the itching. Services also available include nail trim and brief ear cleaning.

T.S. Dr. Keller is great! She takes great care of our dogs. She is honest and up front about options while at the same time being compassionate and calming. When we had to put our black lab down, she was professional and showed great empathy and concern. The whole staff is just great. Oh, and they are open on Sundays!
M.M. Dr. Keller has always taken amazing care of my fur babies. The staff is very friendly and my dogs love seeing them. I call in with questions all the time, they always take the time to answer them or check with Dr. Keller and call me back with more information.. I hope the recent news story concerning Dr. Maloney won't negatively impact the other amazing doctors and staff at this office. While I never met him, I have seen Dr. Keller numerous times and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and knowledgable vet for their pets.
D.E. They always take such good care of all my pets. Sabrina my cat, had a UTI and Dr. Keller as always is amazing and so patient with my demonic little princess.
D.M. Dr. Maloney is the best in the Valley! We have gone to him for years, starting from when no one else could properly diagnose our Golden Retriever. Dr. Maloney was able to diagnose the issue on the first visit, and provided great options for continued care, while keeping our budget in consideration as well (provided ALL options). They have earned our business for life with these experiences!
S.R. We've had great service here for the few times we have gone. They have gastro pet food on the shelf too. They've been understanding when we haven't wanted to spend exorbitantly on our pets and provided us with conservative treatment for wounds and abscesses without judging us for being "cheap" pet owners.. They were very compassionate when we had to put down a 19 year old cat, sending a card the week afterwards in condolences. Classy.
J.P. Had an emergency on a sunday afternoon and rushed my dog here. They did all they could but were not able to save her. The staff was very sensitive to the situation. It's a hard job to tell someone they lost their dog and now it time to pay the bill. They handled the situation as sensitivity and professionally as possible. I appreciate what they did for us.
R.P. This clinic is #1 with us. They helped our dog lose 15 lbs and now she looks and feels great. They take great care of our cats too. We wouldn't think of going anywhere else.
A.M. Absolutely fantastic animal care. Every single staff member I have interacted with has been incredible and shown a level of sincere care for my pets unlike any I have ever experienced anywhere else. They always call the day after an appointment to check and make sure my pet is doing okay. Their prices are more than reasonable. I would never think of taking my pets anywhere else.
