You can help them keep your animals in top physical condition. Here are a few tips to help you care for your pet.

Whether your new pet is a puppy or kitten or a mature animal, bring him in for a thorough checkup.
Schedule an annual checkup for your pet.
Ask about recommended vaccinations for your pet and keep them up to date.
Treat for parasites like fleas and worms. They supply a variety of parasite prevention products to keep your pets pest free.
Feed your pet good quality food formulated to meet his nutritional needs (don't expect your dog to thrive on cat food!).
Don't overfeed! Overweight pets have more health problems than lean ones.
Give your pet plenty of exercise.
Provide a clean place for your pet to sleep. Outside pets need shelter from rain and extreme temperatures.
Clean litter boxes daily.
Trim your dog's toenails regularly.
Keep pets clean with regular bathing and brushing.
Keep their teeth clean - use toothpaste made for pets. Schedule tooth cleaning if plaque starts to build up.
Spay or neuter your pet to avoid unpleasant habits (like spraying in cats) and to prevent injury from fighting or wandering.

T.M. We took our oldest dog here for cremation. The stay was wonderful and so gentle with him.

S.H. This place is simply amazing! We had just drove 28 hours straight from California when we had an emergency with our dog requiring surgery. Dr. Kimberlin was willing to squeeze us into their full schedule and also did the surgery the same day. The staff was extremely helpful and comforting. We are very thankful for Dr. Kimberlin and his team at Crossroads vet!

They actually take the time to properly care for your animal & explain everything to you so you aren’t missing anything on your pets care. If you need a good Veterinarian I definitely suggest coming here.

W.C. I've used crossroads for 14 years now and I'm fully comfortable with this rating. I don't have the memory to go into every story from my experiences but most recently I spent a chunk of money getting a kitten vaccinated so they would be willing to spay her and they didn't bother to say, until all the shots were done and the money paid, that they couldn't actually do the surgery until nearly next spring.. she'll be through heat and possibly pregnant by then. That would have been nice to know sooner.. Just one story of many where they were fine vets in practice but rather annoying to deal with on a customer service/ planning basis. I probably won't stop going there in a pinch, they have fair prices, but I don't trust them to actually have my animals overall long term needs in mind.

L.M. The entire staff of Crossroads Clinic is the best you will ever find. They care about your pet as much as you do. Appointments are given the time needed, after care follow up is through, easing the mind of dog parent is top notch. I will continue to return after moving to Houston when the need for a special dr arises. Thank you for helping us.
