M. Dr Rosonke and the team at Hillside are the best! We met Dr. Rosonke when we purchased our first English bulldog back in 2003. My dog was a patient for over 10 years until we moved out of state. I cannot speak highly enough about their practice. Highly recommend!

M.K. We had laparoscopic spaying performed for our dog here and it was a very good experience. We were provided with an estimate by email and schedule the procedure a week later and the technicians were very thorough in explaining everything and Dr Rosonke did an exam and the surgery in the same day. He phoned us after it was done to tell us how it went. Our dog is recovering nicely and the price was exactly as estimated. Everyone at the office is friendly, competent and helpful.

A.M. Years ago now, as a young person fresh out of college and a cross country move I brought my 3 year old cat to Hillside for a second opinion on a full mouth tooth extraction. I was concerned my youngest cat would go her whole life without teeth.. I had the pleasure of meeting Dr Nicola Council at that time and she reassured me that my cat did not need all her teeth removed, but recommended a dental cleaning which I immediately booked.. As a new resident in Arizona, my new full time job was working in animal rescue. I received news that the rescue was recommending a puppy I was fostering be put to sleep. I again came to Hillside for a second opinion and this time I saw Dr Brad Rosonke. He took time to understand this puppy's complex medical history and reassured me that she was going to get better with time and TLC. And she did.. After this I brought my animals to Hillside religiously. I worked at other veterinary hospitals, but I would never bring my own pets or my foster pets there. Eventually, I accepted a position at their office and I worked for nearly three years with these wonderful vets. I can not say enough great things about the veterinary staff here. I've moved on to helping in human medicine now, but the time I spent as an employee at Hillside only strengthened my belief that they are the best place to bring your pets for care.. The prices here are on the higher side, but it's well worth it for the genuine care you receive, not to mention the top of the line veterinary equipment and surgical options they offer. Dr. Council is so talented and takes her time explaining everything she does during the exam. When my kids come in, she offers to show them what she's doing and welcomes so many questions with patience and grace. There is truly no better place to be with a sick or healthy animal, than Hillside.

R.T. Had a pet related emergency and my normal vet was closed. Called Hillside Animal Hospital (Lauren) and although booked solid she spoke to Dr. Council who didn't hesitate or balk at providing medical treatment. Everyone in the office was exceptionally friendly and professional. They were doting on Gizmo (Boxer) and provided excellent medical care. As animal owners, this is the type of compassionate care we're looking for when entrusting our dogs/cats in their time of need. Thank you Lauren, Heidi and Dr. Council!

N.B. Dr. Rosonke has been extremely patient and loving to my Rottweiler Jackson. I greatly appreciate the love and compassionate that this clinic has showed to my boy over the past month, while he gets through a frustrating situation. The front staff is always in good spirits, and can always get me in timely. Gayle, the vet tech, who guided me through Jackson’s surgery was so sweet and helpful to put me at ease but more importantly, she was calming to my dog. I know every concern and question I have will be addressed and truly feel they care for my boy. Thank you to the staff and Dr. Rosonke for the love you give Jackson.

R.B. Simply THE BEST veterinarian service in the valley! Everyone is extremely compassionate and welcoming and you can tell everyone working here is very dedicated to the health and wellness of your fur babies! My dog Bonsai LOVES coming in here and seeing Dr. Council or Dr. Rosonke. They are both extremely wonderful and helpful highly compassionate veterinarians. You simply just can’t get that kind of service and care anywhere else. I’ve been to so many different veterinarians in the valley and they are at the top of my list. Super personable and they will treat you like FAMILY! It doesn’t get any better than that! Thank you guys so much for everything that you have done for Bonsai and I. We are both extremely thankful for each and everyone of you!
