J.A. Love visiting Dr. Gordon for my vet visits. As a dog lover, she makes pet care easy to understand for new owners. Make appointments in advance and sign up for the care club. You won’t be disappointed!

L.6. Vets and techs are great and seem to care a lot about our dogs, however we had a bad experience with one of the receptionists, as she was handing us the ashes of our beloved cookie she said "I'm sorry for your loss" but started to laugh a bit before finishing saying it. I don't know why she did but i don't think it came from a place of light heartedness as she seemed kind of miffed at me before doing so, i don't know if i did something to upset her or what as i always try to be polite as possible, but i do have a bit of social anxiety so people sometimes get the wrong idea i think, either way it's not really an excuse to laugh when you are handing someone their cremated loved one. This isn't really a reason not to go to this vet since what really matters is how the vets treat your pets, but it's probably something to keep in mind if you are in a delicate situation and don't want to be shocked while you are leaving.

H.R. VCA Davis took excellent care of my dog, Poncho, ever since he started going to them after Animal Hosp of Stamford Greenwich closed. VCA always provided excellent care for my Poncho. The technicians and doctors are passionate and caring. I highly recommend this practice to anyone that has a dog and or cat.

B.H. Being a dog owner and having a professional and reliable vet was a challenge, but the minute we walked in the door I knew we have found the vet we have been looking for. Dr. Alie and her tech (sorry forgot her name) were absolutely amazing & very personable. I appreciate that she did not push things and was aware of all my concerns with both of my dogs. We have 1yr old Golden retriever & a 13yr old dachshund and she was the vet they needed! I would also like to mention your staff member Rose was everything that someone that works with people and animals should be. She was so kind and patient and work through all my questions financially and appointments wise! Rose was very very helpful! I am glad that my dogs have a vet they can depend on! Thanks so much Brittany, Siimba and Jameson!

C.B. For the most part these veterinarians are excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend VCA Davis to a friend. The only thing I find difficult are their prices which I find extremely high. However, when your dog is sick you want good competence and fast service. That they provide.
