Our goal at Kootenai Animal Hospital is to provide affordable state-of-the-art care for small animal patients. Extensive investment in the most modern diagnostic equipment allows us to offer your pet in-house advanced diagnosis and treatment. These services include radiography, EKG, doppler blood pressure, blood chemistry, CBC, blood gas and electrolyte analysis. We also offer full general surgery services to small animal patients, such as soft tissue and orthopedic (i.e. fracture repair, cruciate ligament repair) surgery. Use of the most modern anesthetic protocols and pulse oximetry monitoring of anesthetized patients ensure maximal safety for those animals entrusted to our care.

A.H. Went in 1/2 hour to close with an emergency. The girls all loved on our pup, the vet was very knowledgeable and was thinking out of the box since our dog had not infested anything to our knowledge and was fine this morning. Some of the pest patient and patient owner care I’ve seen. 10/10 recommend them.

K.Y. We love VCA kootenai animal hospital. My sweet Calie has had two surgeries here as well as wellness checks and shots. The receptionists are always so kind and friendly and the Doctors really know their stuff. The pricing is affordable and the service is above and beyond. Definitely recommend ?.

S.W. We are new to the area and unfortunately our almost 14 year old pug was coming to the end of his life. Dr. Williams took Champ in and treated him with love and respect in his final hours of life. The staff at the animal hospital were all amazing and treated us with respect and kindness. An amazing experience for such a sad time in our lives. We will definitely be bringing future pets to Dr. Williams and the Kootenai Animal Hospital Team.

J.A. Fantastic care for our dogs and cats for almost 2 full years now! I have had all the routine stuff like nail trims and immunizations for all.. Plus more tricky stuff like my dogs ear and eye surgeries. They've helped my cats eyes clear up. Soon they're even going to clean my other cat's teeth and pull one that's broken off. They've taken GREAT care of our animals! The prices are reasonable, too. Thanks Kootenai Animal Hospital. We will gladly keep coming back!
