J.S. I am an undergraduate college student from the area who goes to school in New York. I had the pleasure of working as a volunteer assistant for Dr. Heard and his associates over winter break. I have previous vet experience, having worked at another vet practice in the area as an assistant and kennel tech.. I had continually been so impressed with how informative and engaging Dr Heard was with me and my family members every time we took our dog in, and I thought it would be a great learning opportunity to work alongside him. Dr Heard was kind enough to extend me this opportunity when he heard I had been interested in vet medicine.. I can safely say that Dr Heard’s kindness and eagerness to teach extends beyond his interactions with pet owners. Both he and his vet tech have done an amazing job teaching and training me as an assistant, and I have come out of the experience with a lot of knowledge and even more interest in vet medicine. Behind the scenes, Dr Heard is a kind and uplifting man who genuinely cares about his patients, clients, and employees. I would highly recommend his practice to any pet owners looking for reliable veterinary care or those seeking employment opportunities.

I picked AMCC, because I was tired of the "corporate" vet businesses that treated me and my dog like a number, were difficult to deal with, and made me signup for a penalty ridden annual plan (avoid Banfield. ). This was the best thing I have done! Dr. Heard and the whole staff were awesome! I felt like I had been a customer for years and the way they treated my dog was perfect.. I am so glad I made this switch and frankly you should switch as well.

After having a previous bad experience at another vet who was unprofessional, incompetent and downright cold (AVOID Marietta Vet Clinic), I was so relieved to find that Animal Medical Care Clinic was the complete opposite. My cat, who's been through trauma in the past, was treated with top-notch care the second I brought her in. Dr. Heard and his staff, including Tabby, are incredibly kind, gentle and thorough in everything they do. Plus, they went out of their way more than once to help me outside of office hours when my cat was in great need. That's the kind of people they are. You can rest assured that your pet is in good hands here. Will be bringing both of my cats to their clinic from now on. AMCC has set the bar high. Hands down, they are the very best and have won me over through and through.

I called last minute as a new patient because of my sick dog and they were able to fit me in so he could get the care he needed. Dr. Dale is very professional, kind, and knowledgeable. I am so grateful. This will be my primary vet care center from here on out!

M.S.L. When I moved to East Cobb, my pet sitter recommended Animal Medical Care Center for the care of my cats. I have never been so pleased to work with a pet care office. The entire staff is welcoming and caring. Dr. Heard is phenomenal. He explains things well, and often shows me an entry from a text book. I appreciate his common-sense approach. I now have a senior cat who can be grouchy, and Dr. Heard and his staff handle her with care. With my previous older cat, Dr. Heard helped me to make decisions that were in the best interest of my cat and his quality of life. I enjoy going to the office (although my cat does not share my enthusiasm), and I enjoy all the people who work there.

B.B. Dr. Heard and his staff are incredibly caring. My pet LOVES going to the vet! How often does that happen! They are great at communicating what my pet needs and I never leave feeling like I've had extra services or I'm unclear on what step is next. Very happy with them!
