K.S.The entire staff that we worked with were amazing! We went in as an urgent visit. They had never seen us or our pet before. That fact did not change how they cared for her. They were very thorough, willing to assess her, explain their findings, the diagnosis and possible outcomes between then and her end of life. We appreciate very much the thorough and loving nature of the staff.
L.G.We love this Vet. They are friendly, very well organized and in general a happy place to take our doggo to be seen.. Our doggy was a shelter dog, so entering anyplace that is different can be difficult. I really love how the staff greets the animal as well as the person. This really helps to break our baby's tension and our visits are much easier.. The Veterinarians here are professional, yet personal. I want my girl to have the best dedicated medical team and Park Veterinary Hospital gives her this.. Finally, how can you go wrong with the team that brings us all the best puns in Durham?.
B.T.I was visiting relatives in Durham when my dog was bitten by another dog and suffered two puncture wounds. We wanted to get him seen locally ASAP and brought him in as a walk-in at 8AM on a Saturday. The front desk personnel was very calm and thorough with triaging him and initially slated us for an 8:50 appointment time, which we were happy with, however we were able to be seen even earlier after the vet read his intake. We were seen by Dr Hunt who was absolutely amazing. She made us feel so at ease during an otherwise stressful time, gave my dog excellent care, and answered all my questions without making me feel rushed. The vet techs and check out staff were equally great, and the cost was quite fair considering we were an urgent out of town walk-in. I highly recommend them for anyone needing routine or urgent vet care and I can't thank them enough for helping my pup!
L.Forever very grateful for Dr. Leslie and staff at Park Veterinary Hospital and Urgent Care. On Thanksgiving weekend, when other emergency and urgent care facilities were short staffed, not open or ill-equipped, Park Vet welcomed my cat suffering from a UTI. Thankfully, my cat was treated before it festered into a life threatening stage.
K.M.A great place and wonderful staff! We've been coming to Park for about a year and we've had good experiences. Recently, we had to bring our dog in urgently because she swallowed some cat toys, and they worked us in to their full schedule, found an emergency clinic to treat our dog, and were just so compassionate and thoughtful as we were dealing with a really stressful, scary situation!
N.P.Dr. Carroll was amazing with my feline fur child! We came in for a sick visit and they were the only practice around me that were able to fit us in the same week. During our visit, the vet was very thorough while examining my cat. They were fear free as well and gave my cat his favorite churu treats while examining him. I love that they didn't pressure me for anything he did not need and that they don't push medication unless it's necessary. I am very picky when it comes to finding care for my cats but we had a great first visit. I want to bring my other cat here next time too. The facility was very clean and I loved the holiday decor! Highly recommend.
R.K.As a new dog parent (in my adult years), the staff at Park Veterinary Hospital made me feel very supported. They listened to my questions and concerns about adopting from the shelter and reassured me that all was going well. I felt that they genuinely love my dog even though this was the first time meeting. They have an amazing rapport with the animals and their humans. You will not be disappointed!
J.G.Park Vet has always taken care of our pets in a loving manner; and we have had bad experiences with other vets;so to experience an entire team who understand how to handle animals in a fear free way.. it's amazing! Our greatest thanks go to Dr. Hunt, Dr. Crockett & all the Park Vet team! Chris, Jim, Spices, Cooper, Mason, & Layla.
