S.F. Dr. Gillenwaters is wonderful. Yoji, my rabbit, needed to have his teeth trimmed and one tooth extracted. He took time to explain in depth how Yoji’s procedure went and what to watch for in the days following his procedure. He then asked me if I had any additional questions. I felt like he truly listened to my concerns and made sure I felt prepared for his after care. Yoji needed additional pain meds and when I called, the receptionist was able to place me on hold and go talk to the doctor instead of calling me back. They had his compounded med called into the pharmacy almost immediately. Now he is resting more comfortably. I know that Crestwood Animal Hospital is extremely busy but you would never know because they made me feel like my pet was a priority and they always have.

J.N. Our tiny Dwarf Robo Hamster started having seizures and we didn't know where else to turn. Crestwood Animal Hospital was able to squeeze us in and got us a quick diagnosis. Unfortunately, he couldn't be saved, and the staff helped us through that difficult decision. Even though he wasn't their typical cat/dog patient, we were treated with such care and compassion. Thank you!

J.G. Crestwood Animal Hospital staff were amazing when our salamander was very ill. They got us in the same day when we had never been there before. They were incredibly respectful. I had to call the next day with a question and they were helpful and kind. Worth the trip from Spencer County for sure.

R.N. Since losing our past vet in Shelbyville KY, which in itself was very traumatic since we had all three of our dogs there for over 5 years. But coming to Crestwood Animal Hospital we were welcomed with open arms. Trying to make the transition as easy as possible. We have felt welcome and our dogs are safe with these folks. The only problem is the travel distance of 35 miles which is NOT the fault of Crestwood Animal Hospital, it is just a burden we have to live with to make sure our dogs get the BEST care.

N.S. The doctors are great. They take time to thoroughly check out your pet and to explain everything. All the employees at Crestwood Animal Hospital are so friendly and helpful. With the app it is even easier to schedule and get in touch with them!

S.L. Outstanding experience with the entire team here, on a Sunday too! They were quick to get our dog in, kept us up to date the entire time and were incredible reasonable on pricing. I cannot say enough good things about our experience here, just so thankful and appreciative.

W.G. Everything they do is to the HIGHEST standards. They care about YOU and your fur babies! Their attention to detail and willingness to diagnose the actual problem is what saved my 10 week old baby! Even though they couldn’t treat her diaphragmatic hernia in house they where able to get her transferred to another facility immediately (let me remind you that this was later in the evening). Time was not on our side…within hours they diagnosed the problem and she was under the knife! She is now 14months old and loving life! Also, the fact that they stood behind and supported my decision to take the risk vs just putting her down means THE WORLD (as they did not do the surgery so it wasn’t about the money)! ***SEE PHOTO BELOW***.
