One of the greatest services you can perform for your pet is to find a reliable Veterinarian with a great reputation. Consider asking friends and relatives who they use.

We are among the few Practices accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association.

Our medical services include; general medicine, Geriatrics & Cardiology, Radiology, Dentistry, General Sugery, Orthopedic, Neurological Surgery, Endoscopy, In house laboratory services, Prescription Diets, and Ultrasound. In addition, we offer CO2 Laser surgery & a Therapeutic Laser which is our latest techonology for pain management

Two Veterinary Assistants live on site to monitor hospitalized pets. Our full time, trained Veterinary Assistants and Receptionists work closely with the Doctors to ensure thorough, personable services for you. Preventive medicine is important enough to us to include a Dr's exam prior to vaccinating your pet with no charge for an office visit.

Our Veterinary Staff consists of three full time Staff Veterinarians with one part time Veterinarian on Saturdays.

J.S. I love Gainesway Small Animal Clinic and all their vets. They’re always very friendly and accommodating and take very good care of my two dogs. I’ve never had a bad experience in the slightest. Would highly recommend!

S.G. I couldn’t ask for a better vet for my dog. The entire staff is so friendly and make sure you have the best experience possible, and they are much more affordable than a lot of other vets in the area. The office is also always very clean!

L.B. I have been taking my pets here for years now and have never once had a problem with the staff who are more than helpful and will go above and beyond to help your fur baby.. Just recently my dog was running a fever and was very sick. When I called they had a vet call me back yet I was in the car dropping my sick dog off. They healed him up and cleared his infection for less than half of what most veterinarians would charge.. My fur babies will go nowhere else. This place is second to none!

A.K. The literal best place to bring your pet in. I cannot recommend this animal clinic enough for the prices that are the absolute best in Lexington, the vets that care the most about your pet and the quality of veterinarians they have at this place. It’s a shame that so many other veterinarian practices are bought out and then lose the compassion and care they once had for treating animals. You don’t find that at all at, this location. Your pet and your pet’s health is put first and it’s affordable care that won’t be out of your price range like a lot of the other places in Lexington. I cannot say enough great things about this location and Dr. Dabney. I literally left another veterinary practice (VCA in Versailles) that I had gone to for 7 dogs and 26 years to follow Dr. Dabney here.

T.S.G.T. I've taken plenty of animals here for checkups and I've had two animals put down here. This is the only clinic that doesn't look at you like you are a awful person when you are forced to put down an animal due to health problems. The staff are very nice and they treat you very well.

N.D.Z. Dr. Sallie is the best vet ever! He always knows how to help my senior dog and never pushes us to do anything that might cause her too much stress. He listens to all my concerns and always has an answer. The staff is super patient and helpful as well. This place is always busy because they are the best of taking care of your fur babies!

C.J. I love Gainesway! Dr. Sallie saw my cats quickly and treated them with such loving care. They were so calm under his examination! The price was less than I expected and the customer and patient service incomparable. Worth the drive twice over.
