C.B.Dr. R, never tries to up sell any surges or vaccines. If she thinks your animal doesn't need something or isn't necessary she will tell you. The front staff are wonderful ladies. They respect my dog htes other animals so calls us in the car and tells us it's clear to bring our dog in. Love this place.
G.H.Dr Kim Ruffolo really cares about the animals. She's very knowable and a genuinely great human being. Definitely recommend.
J.W.Excellent service from the vets and all the staff! They actually call the day after our appointments to check on our pets.
M.B.The doctors and staff are very knowledgeable and go above and beyond for my dogs. They are so patient with one of my dogs who has anxiety issues and offer me advice on ways to help her; they really do care about the well being of my dogs and I couldn't trust anyone more. Their prices are very reasonable and they even tell me if there's a way I can save money with a manufacturer's coupon for food or rewards points system for ongoing prescriptions. Everyone has a great attitude and seems like they all really enjoy what they do. Such a wonderful place - can't say enough about it!
T.W.H.This is a strange place. I'd say it's good for all your basic pet needs, but when things go south for your pet, it goes a bit sideways. Dr. Ruffalo seems competent and very nice. She's caring. I'll give her and the assistants 5 stars. The front desk is a disaster. I can almost pinpoint it to one person. I've been irritated about the desk help for some time, but have never had to spend much time hammering things out for the proper care of my old cat. My old cat is in renal failure and so we've been having them administer fluids 3x's a week. He took a hard turn for the worst this week, so we cancelled an appoint and told the desk people that we'd let them know about today. My husband called yesterday and said that we would bring the cat in, BUT that we weren't sure if we'd be bringing him in for fluids.. OR we'd have to put him down. Apparently, the desk person only heard fluids and nothing else because THERE IS NO DOCTOR AT 8AM APPOINTMENTS. (I have this in caps so that no one makes our mistake. ) We arrived this morning and said we needed the cat assessed because we were pretty sure we would not be taking our poor cat home. The morning desk person was completely bewildered. She wasn't the one that took the message. The tech was the only one available, and the cat decided to act almost normal, and so we went home after having fluids administered again. Otherwise, we'd have had to wait until 9am for a "emergency" appointment and doctor; or 12:30 when they had another opening. I was well-informed that no one that was in the office at that time, was responsible for any sort of misunderstanding. Right. Irritating, is an understatement. Shocking and dismaying is more like it. Fast-forward to this afternoon. I called in to make sure that our appointment was for a doctor tomorrow morning, because this morning the cat was semi-normal, but this afternoon, he is definitely so sick. Let's just say my phone call was disastrous again. I explained what happened yesterday/this morning.. and i was not heard/put on hold/disconnected.. hello? Hello? Hello? I called back, slammed through my information, gritting my teeth, and made sure that AGAIN, the information was clear that we'd probably-most likely-almost certainly be bringing my cat in for euthanasia. A chipper voice always answers, but you won't get a warm fuzzy feeling from this vet clinic. They get the job done, for a reasonable price, but there's a lot to be desired. The desk staff is on autopilot and easily overwhelmed. One star for them. Overall, that makes 3 stars. They're close and convenient.. but I've seen better.
N.A.Dr. Ruffalo and the staff take excellent care of our cats. During emergencies, they have always found a way to accommodate us. And I know that my kitties have plenty of attention while they are away from us, which brings me great comfort. Top notch care.
M.R.K.All the staff from woman answering phones to the docs, are awesome and go above and beyond satisfaction. They were oh so understanding and gentle with my very scared runt Doberman. I would absolutely recommend bringing your fury friends here. I can't think of any other place I would bring my kaycee. Fair priced and not forcefully trying to get you to do anything that isn't necessary. You can tell they actually look at you like a human being, not a $ sign, and they treat your pet with love.
