S.B. Took my dog in today for his annual exam and vaccines. First thing I notice is that the animal hospital does not smell and is clean. (sure, the building is older, but clean--no urine/pet odor at all! ) The waiting room is large and inviting (also has an area for children). The front desk staff was kind and helped me right away. Once in the room, the veterinarian got down on the ground to look at my dog. Not only was she was very kind and caring, but she listened to my concerns and quickly answered. Exam, blood draw, vaccines, etc. were all completed in the exam room while I was present. They were very professional, honest, and caring throughout the whole exam. I feel like I have found my team that practices good medicine and cares about my furbaby as much as I do. Louie is happy because he got lots of treats!

E.D. Everyone here is so kind and compassionate, very reasonably priced too. Came back here to my hometown from Chicago & definitely glad I did. Trusted them to care for my puppy & they did a wonderful job.

L.P. I would like to thank the staff and doctors at Palatine Animal Hospital for taking such diligent care of my pets. Recently, my cat Marzipan got very sick and suddenly passed away this Saturday. This was the first clinic I took him to when I got him as a kitten; Dr. Janssen always took excellent care of him and Dr. Luttrell did a great job with his neuter back in 2020. Dr. Janssen also took the time to ask me how to pronounce my new puppy's name and even wrote it down in her chart, which I really appreciated. She is an anxious little pup, and she took extra care in distracting her without scaring her for her vaccine. A long time ago I took my late dog here who was agressive towards strangers, and Dr. Riordan was one of the only vets who could calm him down. They are one of the best clinics in the area and I can't recommend them enough. Thank you for all that you do.

C.G. I give this business 5 stars because of how great their services are. They are wonderful resources to me if I call with a concern and the staff is very friendly. I go out of my way to use Palatine Animal Hospital even though there are vets closer. They spend time making sure my dog is comfortable but are still able to have visits be quick and efficient.. Although I do not believe it reflects the business as a whole, I would like to say that I am disappointed that Dr. Janssen was very short with me while I asked questions regarding anxiety medicine for my dog on my recent visit. I am confused by the process and was looking for guidance- I was met with statements like “just make a decision”. I was hoping the veterinary professional would have been able to help me make decisions by hearing the situation.

G.G.G.G. First time puppy dad here. I asked a LOT of questions, probably an annoying number of them, and was met with detailed, thorough answers to all of them. Service was excellent, staff/doc were both helpful and friendly. Doctor was open and honest about what to do when, what is optional and what is necessary and I will be returning every few weeks for vaccines and check-ups!
