East Maryland Animal Hospital is a small animal pet veterinary hospital. It is our commitment to provide quality veterinarian care throughout the life of your dog or cat. Our services and vet facilities are designed to assist in routine preventive care for healthy pets, early detection and treatment of disease as your pet ages, and complete veterinary medical and pet surgical care as necessary during his or her lifetime. Our experienced veterinary staff stands ready to serve the small animal pets in Phoenix, their owners and our Phoenix community. East Maryland Animal Hospital is located in Phoenix, AZ 85012.

East Maryland offers a full veterinary laboratory, pet surgery, a pet pharmacy, with emphasis on heartworm and tick - flea control. We are currently recommending cat and dog virus vaccinations as well as senior pet wellness programs. We understand the special role your pet plays in your family and are dedicated to becoming your partner in your pet's health care. Our goal is to practice the highest quality veterinary medicine and small animal pet surgery with compassion and an emphasis on client education. We provide behavioral counseling for unruly dogs and cats.

Our East Maryland vet facility includes a well-stocked pharmacy, in-hospital surgery suite, in-house x-ray capabilities, a closely supervised treatment area, and indoor boarding kennels with outdoor walking areas. We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. We also work closely with local specialty practices when special diagnostic procedures are required.

R.O. East Maryland AH was professional and fantastic from the start! I only needed a senior wellness with vaccines so my appointment was a few weeks away. I order to keep my from forgetting I got an email and text reminder with my new patient paperwork attached. They were efficient during the check in, appointment and check out. J.M. Always a great experience here. Staff are friendly and it’s obvious they love what they do. They always follow up with phone calls the day or two after the visit to see how your pet is doing. So glad we found them because our other experiences in Phoenix haven’t been as positive. If you want your pet treated with care, this is the spot!

N.V. I have used East Maryland for about the last decade and have had nothing but positive experiences there. We have had three dogs in their care for their entire lives. Dr Martens is our regular doctor but I have seen them all and they are wonderful. Highly recommend!
