Review:
The quality of the care and the people have been tremendous in our experience.
They insisted I pay and told me the doctor gave me 50% off the examination bill.
This is by far the most unprofessional place I have ever encountered.

T.G.The staff at BP downtown are AMAZING! My dog has always been treated with compassion. The woman at the front desk are very clear and helpful with any scheduling concerns. His Internist and dermatologist take their time and make him feel comfortable even when he's impatient. He has been lucky to have great nurses who treat him like his own. Wall-E is BP Downtown's fan!
B.M.AMAZING experience with BluePearl West 15th St. My Zeus, Ridgeback, has "Proteinuria" and I need an Internal Specialist. Dr. Mak, combined with Dr. Romalo (Resident Vet) were beyond expectations. Everything you hope - knowledgeable, caring, patient. I have a wonderful plan for my dog now and he is excellent care with Dr. Mak and BluePearl Pet Hospital. Also, my experience making an appt was terrific. They moved my day up from "waiting list" as I requested ASAP! Cristal, at the reception desk was excellent. This facility is impeccably clean and well run; combined with amazing care. I would give 6 stars!
K.B.Despite the circumstances that brought us to BluePearl, we had an exceptional experience with the office and staff themselves. I found out my dog had cancer, and over 7 months, they treated him and us with the utmost consideration and compassion. I felt like we had the best care and although it was during the part of covid when we couldn't come in for visits with the dog, we knew he was in good hands. The oncologist was available whenever we needed her to talk about our dog's care, we never felt rushed, and she gave us multiple options for treatment. At the end, the whole staff at BluePearl was there for us and made us as comfortable as possible. We're very grateful for them.
P.C.I can’t say enough good things about BluePearl downtown. I came in in complete panic after my puppy started peeing blood and lost control of his bladder. The women at the front desk were extremely kind and welcoming. The nurse treated my puppy like her own when she brought him down to be examined. And the doctor came in and so thoroughly explained EVERYTHING, completely calmed my nerves, and gave honest, candid advice to me as a first time dog owner. I certainly hope I never have to visit an emergency vet again, but if I do I will not go anywhere but BluePearl. Thank you so very much to all of the kind women I met the evening of 1/19!
E.R.I have been taking my cat here since May 2021 when she suddenly started acting different and breathing very heavy and fast. I frantically brought my cat here in the early morning and she was taken in immediately. After some diagnostics I was told that my cat was experiencing heart failure, and was in critical condition, her prognosis was very poor. I was absolutely devastated at the news, when a couple days prior I believe she had been a perfectly healthy happy young cat. She had to stay overnight at the hospital for multiple days to stabilize. The staff at the hospital were incredibly empathetic, and amazing with giving me frequent updates and explaining the situation and treatment options thoroughly. Over the next couple months, the cardiologist, Dr. Wiley, worked with me to narrow down my cats treatment to balance her heart condition and kidney values. I am happy to say that my cat has been stable for the past few months, and is doing absolutely amazing. It feels like a miracle after the months of hospital visits.. If it weren’t for the team at blue pearl, and especially Dr. Wiley, my little kitty would not be around today. Truly thank you to all the staff at blue pearl!
E.M.I took my 10 year old cat to BluePearl after being referred by my vet. Dr Stanley diagnosed a very agressive GI lymphoma and referred him to Dr Britton, oncologist at BluePearl. My cat received the best treatment and care, we could have ever hoped for. The front desk staff and nurses were always kind and helpful when I dropped off/ picked up my cat and the vet's team was professional, compassionate and always took the necessary time to go over the treatment plan and explain all the details. I would definitely note that the cost of treatment is really high at BluePearl although I do not have any elements that compare BluePearl to other clinics. I would definitely recommend having your pet insured. Overall I am very happy and grateful that my cat's treatment took place at BluePearl especially with Dr Stanley and Dr Britton.
M.M.Two winters ago the ER Veterinarians at this Blue-Pearl location saved my dog's life. She ingested a container of Vitamin D capsules from my bedside while I was sleeping. After researching the topic I rushed her to this facility (I'd never been). The staff and doctors were kind, understanding, and professional. Her treatment was complex and time sensitive. I have no regrets bringing her here and am grateful for their help. Michelle Griego-Valles, DVM and Josh Rosenbaum, DVM; in the event you read this, thanks again for saving my dog's life!
