Dr. Karen Reamsnyder founded the Raynham Veterinary Hospital in 1985, in a converted barn attached to her home. She became the first veterinarian in Raynham after determining that this was an ideal place for a new animal hospital in Southeastern Massachusetts.

Since that time, the Raynham Veterinary Hospital has grown steadily in size and prestige. It obtained American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) accreditation in 1988, and it is currently accredited at the highest level obtainable.

In 1998, the Raynham Veterinary Hospital moved into its present location at 402 South Street East. The building was specifically designed as a veterinary hospital.

Originally went for a consultation about a mass on his gum and they were confident they could not only take it out but improve his quality of life to when he didn’t have the mass.
