P.W. Assistants up front are absolutely great. Brought my husky pup and she held him at the desk, even while checking other patients in. Doctor was kind to myla. She didn't even feel her shot. Very quick answered any questions I had.
D.A. Very caring, took time to explain what I needed to know. From the front desk people to the doctor just wonderful.
K.R. I took my Mom's cat here recently and they took great care of her, everyone there was very nice.
K.T. They have been taking care of my Sam for years.. not sure of how many. I thought I was going to lose him at one point but he is alive going on 17 with health issues I never expected he would survive. Dr Berard is fantastic. She is caring and actually gives a excellent good physical exam no matter how unruly your pet might may be. Sam is a horror at his appointments. He's a sweetheart at home.. take him to the vet, it's a different story. He needs frequent blood tests to check his thyroid levels. Kudos to these wonderful people who have to deal with his not so nice side. I think it takes four. They are fantastic. I so appreciate everyone one of them. When Dr Berard calls with results she takes the time to go over all the results, gives you options, never pushes expensive tests or procedures. plus she listens to you. Besides caring about your baby, she cares about you. Also Beatrice at the desk.. love getting her on the phone and lucky when she is there in person. I feel my cat is getting great care there.
L.F. Staff was amazing. Very friendly and attentive. I loved Dr Lightbody she made sure all my questionswere answered and was just lovely with my Pepper. .
B.F. Very understanding and take the time to explain everything. I'm a person who likes to know details to fully understand why the treatment is needed and what the pro's / con's could be. I came here when my dog was a puppy and they have always been so gentle with him. The hospital is also very clean and well organized which is much appreciated! The girl's at the front desk are very friendly which makes it easy to call to schedule or for an emergency.
S.S. Ok, I'm still 3stars, I admit, I haven't had a chance 2call or email about it. But, I tell them & show them paperwork of tests already just performed on my dog by his reg vet, (I'm tryin 2decide who 2stay with), & the results were there, the VCA wanted 2do em again. I still dnt know why my dogs throwin up. Is thirsty but pukes, breath stinks, he could have that Lepto goin around from his paws & the rain. Of course there's puddles, we live on the beach. Kind of hard 2avoid. I've been lookin in2 "Booties" 4him on Amazon. But don't know if that'll help or hurt his yeast in his paws. Plus he may need antibiotics in my opinion, I'm not a vet, I just know my 3yr old boy, & smthg is seriously wrong inside that mouth. That breath & I brush his teeth. & gums, & tongue. But no1 ever really looks at his paws cuz hes a pit bull and he flinches. But wn't hurt any1. Ppl d'nt get it. He's a good boy unless some1 was 2/harm me. It's not the dog, it's the breeder, the owner!
T.T. I used to go to the VCA in Brookline until I moved, and was glad to see there was a VCA in Everett (I live in Malden). It's not as nice as the one in Brookline but I've definitely seen worse. The staff are friendly and caring, the veterinarian I bring my cat to always has his well-being in mind. They are offer VetSource Home Delivery for prescription food and medications, which is nice because you can control the autoship features of your food and not have to deal with finding a prescription every time you go out to pick up your pet's food. They have a parking lot and will let you take your cat out of its carrier if it's on a harness and you feel comfortable with it. My cat is pretty curious so I always bring his harness and leash and let him poke around :).
