Welcome to Animal Health Services-serving the Cave Creek, Carefree, Anthem, North Scottsdale and North Phoenix Areas. Animal Health Services is a fully equipped hospital with diagnostic tools such as a CT Scanner (Computed Tomography), Ultrasound, Endoscopes, Laparoscopes, Arthroscopes, Digital Radiography, Digital Dental Radiography, In-House Laboratory equipment, CO2 Laser, Radiosurgical units, and Telemedicine. With all of this technology at our disposal, we are able to diagnose an illness and begin the treatment process without sending our patients to other facilities across the valley.

Animal Health Services of Cave Creek is owned and operated by Dr. Cliff Faver. We have been providing pet care in Cave Creek since 1994. In May 2005, our "state of the art" facility was completed and we made the move from a building of approximately 1000 sq. ft. to a building of nearly 10,000 sq. ft.

Our mission at Animal Health Services is to provide the highest quality veterinary medicine available and to provide a level of customer service that will exceed your expectations. We like to think of each and every client as our friends and treat them as such. Your pets are an extension of our family and we treat them as if they were our own.

To facilitate our diagnostic abilities, we are staffed with 5 full time veterinarians and a technical staff of over 40 employees. Each of our veterinarians have chosen an area of special interest and have excelled in services such as orthopedic surgery, arthroscopy, laparoscopy, endoscopy, internal medicine, neurology, oncology, advanced dental care including root canals and some restorative work, avian medicine, preventative medicine, as well as some alternative medicines including Veterinary Orthopedic Manipulations. V.O.M. is a chiropractic-type medicine that allows us to help pets that are arthritic and are having problems getting up and/or walking.

The entire staff of Animal Health Services is truly dedicated to the well being of each and every pet and ensuring that our clients are treated like family. K.P. Always top notch service at this practice. Great doctors as well as office staff. They have fair prices and treat the animals great. I have tried other practices but none in the area compare.

A. My dog Dahlia is my pride and joy. In October of 2020 we almost lost her to IMT. The care here was excellent and they're incredible responsive and communicative. I've stayed here ever since. Her original vet that was here has since left but their remaining vets are good too.

T.A. Excellent staff! They know how to care for dogs even my scared pup that barks a lot. Dr. Smith is one of the best. He helped diagnose my dog’s rare disease and save her life. I would recommend them to all my friends and family.

L.W. Yesterday I had to put my beautiful baby Bailey to sleep. We called the vet we have been taking her to for the past 8 years (she was only 8). They said their next appointment was in a week or we could come in and wait for who knows how long for something to open up. We couldn't do that to ourselves or our dog. They had no compassion or sympathy for us whatsoever. So, my husband called Animal Health Services of Cave Creek. They said they could fit us in right away. They had never seen us before, yet they were so caring and compassionate as I cried my eyes out. It was not easy making the decision to end our dog's life.. Dr. Smith assured us we were not bad parents, and we were doing the right thing. I want to say thank you to Dr. Smith and Tamie at Animal Health Services of Cave Creek for treating us with such kindness and compassion. I will never again go back to our old vet.

A.C. I love and trust all the vets and staff here. They are very professional and truly care. The place is clean bright and professional. The staff is efficient and the vets are wonderful. I have brought my miniature poodle here since he was 14 weeks old. They have cared for him and saved his life on one occasion.
