At Valley Veterinary Hospital, Fredericton, New Brunswick, we are all pet owners too. Our pets are important parts of our families. Since we opened in 1985, our goal has been to treat clients and their pets as we would like to be treated!

We have high tech equipment and we have an onsite lab, and we are justifiably proud of them. But beyond that, our Comfort Care Policy, includes: pain management, freshly laundered fleeces, hot water bottles and lots of TLC!

Our staff is up to date on all the advances in pet care medicine. All of this and our web site only give you an idea of what we can do for you. We are happy to show you around on any day between 2 - 4 PM we offer tours of our facility, drop in or make an appointment.

S.B. I cannot say enough good things about Valley Vet. We have always been able to get appointments quickly and never wait long in both the waiting area and exam rooms. From the moment we walk in, my dogs are greeted by name and fussed over by everyone. All staff make sure that you know your animal is important and I've always felt confident and satisfied with diagnoses and treatment plans received. I always recommend Valley Vet to everyone.

E.H. My little Bella has very high anxiety when meeting new people. She was due for her yearly check-up. I was concerned how things would go for her. To my surprise Bella did extremely well. The entire staff was so calm and loving towards her. Not once did she start shaking. And she even took treats when given to her. Bella has never done that before. I want to Thank everyone at Valley Vet for making Bella vet visit such a positive experience. I highly recommend Valley Vet, they understand how important our fur babies are to us. C.P. So happy that they were able to get Harley in the same day I called. These guys and gals go above and beyond for your "babies". Highly recommend to anyone needing veterinary care, they are the best.

D.F.g. This is not our first time with Valley Veterinary Hospital. We've been with them for well over 25 years I think. We've had bad and good moments but they are 5 stars in my book, nonetheless. We've been going there since we've had our first cat, Curly back in 1994 and the only bad experience we had, was when we had to put down Curly. They couldn't accept us at that very moment instead, it would have to be a few days later. That didn't fly with me so we ended up going to Oromocto.. Then we had Bubba our first dog and we had nothing but the best service for him. Dr Stone was always there to help and did her best to keep our Bubba the longest with us even though Bubba had a list of problems long like the day.. When it was time for Bubba to cross the rainbow bridge, they wanted me to come back later that afternoon but this time, I was not going to let this scenario go through like Curly again. I told them Bubba was suffering and that I was not emotionally capable of coming back knowing this was going to be my Bubba's last trip.. Dr Stone was on her lunch break and she heard the conversation and said she would take care of us and she did. She helped us bring our beloved Bubba for his finale voyage over the rainbow.. Dr Stone explained every bit of what was going to happen during this very sad and emotional moment of our life and that alone, deserved the 5 stars.. Is the clinic perfect? Hell no. I have dealt with many in the area and none of them stand out more than the other. This one stands out in one aspect. I find the staff friendly. Every time I have questions, I always leave with answers and I'm happy for that.. So as long as I have pets and the staff stays friendly with us, Valley Vet will be our taking care of our motley crew. ☺.

S.P. I’m so glad I switched to valley vet. My dog is super anxious and Dr. Finley has been exceptional in dealing with him. Also, I had a stressful/ emergency situation last week with him and they were able to get me in the same day and sedated him for X-rays which made his experience so much less traumatic than his trip to the emergency vet. Beyond that a day or two later I received a call saying when they were going back over the paperwork and said they had overcharged me an additional sedation which wasn’t given and credited my account the money. I would have never known. I feel like my dog and cats are in good hands with them. Appreciate the care my pets are given here. Would recommend them.

C.M. Absolutely best vets in Fredericton! There are in it for the love of animals not money. Went out of their way to help find alternative treatments for our giant breed with Addison's that could make treatment affordable. Highly recommend!
